  • The fallout from last night's TV debate has injected a new note of bitterness into the campaign. Sir Keir Starmer accused Rishi Sunak of lying when he claimed that Treasury figures showed that Labour would put taxes up by £2,000.
    (Subscribe: bit.ly/C4_News_Subscribe)
And in a letter, the top Treasury civil servant distanced his department from the figures.

Two things should happen at the next debate. Starmer should ask Sunak to sue him for deformation of character. If he refuses this demand Starmer should insist Sunak repeats the £2k allegation (word for word and waiving his right of correction) at the first session of the new Parliament to open himself up to a misleading Parliament charge.

The question to the tory Economic Secretary to the Treasury "by how much by you plans are going to mean the tax burden goes up by?" that he did of course not want to give a straight answer to - if they've worked out by how much the tax burden will be raised from Labour's plans then surely they would have also worked that out for their own plans?
With all the £Billions of taxes that the tories have "lost" from the PPE procurement scandal, Track & Trace etc that needs to be put back into the pot, their own number is most likely way higher.
Simply more lying and childish mudslinging from the tories - but then we can't expect any better from them.

Can the Conservative party tell the UK citizens how much they borrowed so far. Can the Conservative party tell the UK citizens how much debt they are leaving behind for any new administration to inherit. I am concerned about the poor state of the NHS and poor quality of services that they provide. Crime is up and immigration is up under the Conservative government. The NHS waiting list for treatment under the Conservative government is very long and unpresidented. It takes at least three weeks to have a GP's appointment. The Labour Party leader is a gentleman but Mr Sunak is a rottweiler and should be ashamed of poor NHS services under his watch. Mr Sunak should tell the British people how much him and his wife made or procurement of contracts during the Covid-19 through their private companies. Mr Sunak should show a list of what he's done since he became the UK prime minister. The Conservative Party tells lies to stay in office. Does anybody remember lies told about BREXIT?

If the Labour Party is seeking a budget for their programs, I have an excellent source to suggest: double the taxes applied to insurance companies and ensure that they do not increase their prices. The area with the highest unjust gains in this country is insurance companies. The taxes on the profits of insurance companies, which are five times more expensive than those in European countries, should be increased. There is an unfair insurance law. Internet companies, without making investments or improving service quality, collect large sums of money from the public. Transportation companies do the same. The taxes collected from these areas would be enough to bring all projects to life.
The price increases in this country have never been proportional to inflation. The public has been consciously exploited and robbed, and the entities stealing this money from the public have been the companies. No product in the market has been proportional to inflation, nor have rents. The main reason for the housing problem is that housing investments and constructions have not kept pace with the growing population. Migration to rural areas should be encouraged, and infrastructure investments should be made in these areas. This beautiful country needs to be uplifted as a whole.
Please discuss these suggestions and strive for even better solutions. For this country and its youth.
