MPVs will always be a better alternative than any SUV for anyone who want a really good car, and not a show-off-machine. Can't understand this infernal SUV-hype of the masses - get over it, will you!

One retrograde step with the more modern Berlingos (I have a 2012 model) is that the front door window controls have been moved from the centre console onto the doors themselves, so that a driver cannot operate the passenger side window, which I have occasionally found useful. Other than that it is an absolutely brilliant car.

I have converted my second gen Berlingo to an occasional camper with all lift out fittings (Car and camper - best of both) - I just looked at this video because was considering getting a new one, having had 5 years of high milage, trouble free motoring (Starting to show her age after 22k miles a year for 5 years). The rear seats on this new version are no longer lift out units. The dropped floor space is very useful and I think filling that with folded seat is a backwards step. Think I shall keep my Blingy for many more years and spend some money on her (It's just been tyres, fuel and routine servicing only so far). Great car.

Fits three abroad, with comfort? Well if you are Rebecca’s size, perhaps.... but she didn’t do a convincing job of demonstrating that three full size adults will fit comfortably. (six foot plus 90kg blokes.... yes that is pretty average now). Why have this type of car unless it can fit seven with ample luggage? Almost none of them can and they are not bargains either. If you get any full size van of almost any make, (SWB 5m), with 7/8 seats, at two/three years old, 120bhp diesel, they are magic everywhere...

As owner of the Dacia Dokker (with all extras available at the time) I still strongly consider the new Berlingo. Of course a full spec new Dacia costs half of a full spec Berlingo .. but thinking of my "other" driver now, the automatic parking, front and side sensors and other extras available will pay themselves off in no time ;)

+Scotia this cars aren't made by ignorant people they are made and design by engineers. they did put the pump in a place with no acess and they no it will be necessary to replace at some time . they are not innocent they made it to difficult the continued use of the product they design. this is a scam if some poor people would do a scam like this would go to jail . but they are so rich and powerfull so is normal and we have to acept . until we put some yelow vest an go violent .

@@luzsol1609 There's a thousand and one things taken into consideration when designing a car. Cost effectiveness, ease of manufacture, safety, space constraints to name but a few. To suggest that the fuel pump was made deliberately difficult by some sort of illuminati is frankly, ridiculous. There's a plethora of cars out there where certain aspects of maintenance aren't straightforward, it's nothing to do with stepping on the proletariat. Maybe you should have bought a VAZ 2105 instead? And again, drop the fuel tank out of the car and you won't need to cut the floor.
