I wish more players were honest like this. Everyone’s legit, why they don’t give other players flowers? Humility is respectful
Humility goes along way.
To your knowledge, what players are lying? 😅
They do. Watch any basketball podcast
Egos
Umm basketball players stay giving flowers to each other ...your thinking football..can't be basketball..cause they glaze each other like no other
Glad this guy gave Ricky Rubio his flowers. Underrated passer. The real passers are guys who can allow you to find spots and your numbers go up. Ricky Rubio did that year after year. We overrate flashy passers that force guys to spot up, and overlook the real playmakers in this league. Also for admitting Pat Bev locked him up. Fans tend not to respect defensive players, and they act like Draymond, Pat Bev don’t cause havoc for offensive players.
Draymond aint that nice defensively, watch film!
Bruh this man downplaying himself.. I was an okc fan at the time and him and Joel Ingles stressed me out that series. Made Russ and PG PLAY that series 😂💯
Play and lose in 5.
was a okc fan??
Ik you not cappin cus I’m 100% wit you bro like OMG 😭😭

Ngl I didnt watch college ball but i heard of Tatum, Zo, Fultz, Fox etc...but when i saw this dude in summer league i was surprised he didnt have more hype. Lowkey 1 of the best draft classes.
Fultz was legit colder than all of them in college tbh, he was the whole package right from the jump. It sucks he had that weird shoulder injury almost immediately after being drafted smh.
@@gamechanger114that's the sad part ... fultz had in the bag no true weakness coming out of college
Bc like Donovan said the 8 game stretch is what really got him drafted. He had a crazy blossom in one summer. He went from a decoy filler player to a reliable 1st option in a tough conference
@@gamechanger114 nah he wasnt on radars like THAT fr. im a sixers/duke fan from STL so i def know about that 17 draft class lbvs. frank jackson, bacon, and josh jackson had more buzz despite turning out to be sub par. Josh hart had more buzz cuz of the chip. DSJ's mixtape went crazy..... fultz was not better than tatum, ball, fox, spyda or DSJ (who beat duke on his own essentially) for starters. fultz is a solid guard and wish him the best but lets not act like he was that guy in college. even now that he is healthy he's arguably 3rd best gurard on team behind cole and suggs
@@elliottsmith7530 Wdym nah? He was literally the #1 draft pick in 2017. Anybody that actually watched him play in college knew he was the complete package, that's why he went #1 overall... Idk why you referencing highschool hype and mixtapes lol, that's not nearly as much of a factor as watching how they actually perform individually at the college level. He was the conscious #1 pick for a reason. Your argument doesn't make any sense tbh. Just because he wasn't really on your radar doesn't change the fact that he was on literally every NBA scouts radar in college. He's clearly not the same player he had the potential to be with his shoulder injury so not sure why you're judging how is now compared to his current teammates. His whole jumpshot & career changed after his injury. Like he shot over 40% from 3 on over 6 attempts in college. Now with his new form he struggles to even shot that far. And that's solely talking about just his jumpshot, because I'd imagine with that shoulder injury it probably limited how he dribbles passes and plays defense. It's actually kind of incredible he's still able to play in the NBA with not being able to lift his arms certain ways he used to be able to. You clearly didn't watch alot of his games in college and don't understand how significant his shoulder injury was.
Donovan and his Yellow Shoes!
Big ups Rodney Hood!!❤❤❤
DUKENATION
Solid player fasho
@@earlthomas7591*RODNEY CAN’T LEAD NO TEAM THEY WOULDA BEEN AT THE BOTTOM OF THE WEST GOOD THING MITCHELL CAME*
Yo dude did Westbrook expression so cold!!
It’s crazy they go from Alec Burks, to Rodney Hood then Mitch
None of them was close to Mitchell play even in his first yr
Alec Burks was nice especially in 2k!😂😂
@@Rrw98he was always good…. Probably superstar good but he was always constantly coming back from injuries. Hard to get better when you’re always working on getting healthy
ever since i saw mitchell in during summer league with all that hustle and just winning plays i knew he belonged
I can't focus on nothing but those crooked ass glasses 😂😂
Russ 😂😂
Lmao
Sucks teeth* 🤣🤣🤣
subbed, new fav pod. glad i found you
Such a humble man, much respect
Donovan was a great Star player for the Jazz. Glad I got to run into him and he was a great influence on the city!
Born and raised in Louisville/ being a UofL fan, we knew Donovan was going to be special 🕷️
2:41 nigga u was a my player bro won dunk contest beat 3 superstars for sure hall of famers his rookie year had a bunch of 30 point game that shit really was UNREAL
Then you knocked us out the playoffs as a rookie. I was pissed.
Spida 💪🏽💪🏽
As on okc fan I have nun but respect for spida he could easily be cocky about all this but he’s humble and that shows his character
“Rodney on 3!”
Spida Buckets 🪣 🔥
Rodney was a vet but he wasn’t a old head so he understood the assignment lol
Can’t wait till he’s a Knick
ASAP PLEASE. Dear RJ, Love Ya... but, it's time !
Imposter syndrome a real mind fuck for some ppl
Dude with the hat on voice can’t really sound like that 😜🤣🤣🤣
Utah was never gonna be Rodney Hood's team... He was never like that... Ever👌🏾💯
S/o Rodney hood
To be great live away from the casuals, be alone if u have to. Comment sections reflect society. Im talking about Bev and other players like Harden that get shit from the media and average people.
That OKC team would demolish todays OKC team just to put into perspective
No they wouldn’t
no they wouldnt lol that okc team does not have enough shooting.
What strain u on I need a lb of that
Y’all either born in the 2000’s or casuals.. prime Westbrook, Paul George, Steven Adams and an older Melo… this version of SGA ain’t even on any of their levels YET. Little dick energy coming from you all
@@mansamusa7927 smoking on your mama Coochie pack!!
Donavan broke westbrick during that series
Is that the series Russ averaged a 40 point triple double?
No his teammates did tho
Paul played terrible that series
@@jamesonedwardsii4943lol yeah game 5 Russ drops 43 12 13, pandemic 13 dropped like 5-8pts in the close out game💀
Damn weatbrook really trash he lost 4-1 to a rookie with PG and Melo smh
they had the same record that year (48-34) OKC just had the tie breaker. that Utah team was 🔥🔥🔥
@@Hooperd2023andre Roberson was hurt which & melo was way past his prime, only Russ & PG 🤷🏿♂️💯
PG had a shoulder injury but yeah they shouldn’t have lost at all
@@shaquillemays3454what?? Melo was an all star the year before your just talking to talk bruh lol melo was not past his prime at that point he just wasn’t the first option
