- How to do a fade at home step by step the easy, fool-proof way. I'll give you all the information you need to cut hair at home like a pro. This is the easiest way that I have found to fade my son's hair at home with great results.

Lol, when you get an at home kit the guards will be numbered and usually color-coded. Teeth forward and back refers to how long or short they'll cut the hair. You got this!
Lol, the front teeth, back teeth through me. I was like clippers have that switch cause mine doesn't. Oh well the kid ain't got nowhere to go and can't look at his own head all the time so we'll be ok. I guess🤷🏽♀️

I was searching the comments for this type of sentiment. I too cut my son's hair with no formal training outside of 20+ years of sitting and watching barbers do it. I started cutting my own at 19 and never went to a barber again. That being said I've watched plenty of "professional" barber videos and none have made the fade sound this simple.
