I especially appreciate the trick you shared doing the top with one guard with the grain and the sides to the ridge a half guard higher against the grain for that infinity fade. I was a barber for 15 years and I must say , your technique is on point. Much respect 💯. We didn’t have the .5 and 1 1/2 guard to work with. It was all clipper and hand technique

Next bald fade I get I’m going to try setting in my guidelines with the .5 closed and the 1 closed instead of the lever open and the 1 open. Getting the lines out seemed effortless when you did it that way
Doobie With The Cuts I learned blending the same way (making the guides with open guards), but over time figured out an easier method.
Put a 1.16 closed make line then fade from bottom up easy . Take hard off start blending up. Into ur one.
Is the clippers open, mid, or closed using the #1 guard???
