How did it go?
Thanks guys for such great tips!
Thanks for all your professional info👍
well done guys, all good advice as always and some lovely shots.
Excellent video, thank you for sharing!
Awesome tips, and thanks for sharing.
Awesome stuff guys!
About to do my first wedding.
Thanks for the tips👍
Great video, thank you!
An important tip that was taught to me: Always attend a wedding with AT LEAST 2 drones. If you want to capture the moment the couple walks out of the church, one drone must be in the air shooting and the other one must be on the ground, all 4 motors turned on and ready to fly off in case there is a problem with drone 1.
Wow
Saving up for the second drone now.
that seat swap editing in the beginning was smooth.
thanks for these tips!
Great tips thanks
Great Tips Guys
I’m so glad I found your channel! I’m a photographer and my fiancé is going to be getting a video camera and a drone so we can be a team! Looking forward to your videos and classes!
Good tips. Thanks guys! Lots of Venues here in the states in Nc. Looking forward to doing some weddings!
Ok, "Don't hit the Bride" is a given...…*however* is it ok to take out the mother in law? or should I charge extra for that....:P (Kidding. - great tips guys)
Thanks for the tips
You guys are great I do weddings now I’ve the A2cofc and your totally correct saying always be ready
Always helpfull
Thanks guys 😊
Maybe one more tip: make sure you can legally fly at the location and are not in any restricted area, such as airports, harbours, military restricted zones etc. You should always check that.
And don’t forget to charge your batteries up front. Nothing worse in a time pressured shoot than not having enough battery life and needing to charge.
Great content
Good tips , regards from Brazil
Subscribbed! Happy flying!
Welcome to the channel!
Maybe another tip: Make sure you got your ISO correctly!
You are really something wkwk
This iso shit is nothing compared to what the knowledge is being shared here,
Thanks to the creators.
Thanks for the tips i make drone footage on my friends wedding
To add after shooting drones in weddings for 4 years after watching this video:
-Use tripod mode for the venue establishing shots.
-Have your 107 ready for the drone Karens
-Have a backup drone
-Hire a drone pilot if you can
-Include doing drone photos, the photographer will thank you
-Shoot in 4K 60 D-CINELIKE to give your editor options
-Shoot some clips to get some stock images of the venue
-Give your bride and groom advance instructions if you want them to interact with the drone.
Remember most wedding videos will only use 3-5 secs of your drone shots. So shoot with a purpose.
Step 0:Learn to fly drone
Nice compound moves. Are you doing those manually?
I think everyone apart from the one the couple in front of white house at the start was manual. That one was done with course lock.
Drone rules!
Hi, guys. Just purchase DJI Mini3. My first drone. Do I need to register it and do I need a license to fly? Love your channel. Will go enroll in your course.
Hello I'm An aspiring drone pilot and looking at getting my first drone I wanted to ask if you know if the mavic 2 pro is good for photography and weddings
Hello there i saw your video and thanks for your advice. I am. Thinking to buy a bew drone for wedding shooting and others but like many people i am between mavic 2 pro and mavic air 2.... I know the differences between them but i wohld like to know your opinion... You think i can have a professional result with mavic air 2? Price and age(2020) for mavic air 2 and 4kin 60fps are positive points... Camera of pro 2 of course better but price and age (model of 2018) are in negative points...
The shot 0:49 is amazing. Wow.
Iceland...nuff said...
is MQ-1 drone good for weddings? asking for a friend.
Can I get the information for the masterclass please & thankyou!
Certainly! All the info is in the description under this video.
Great tips and information. I realize this question depends on location, experience and things like that. Would you please tell me your pricing and what you provide. Thank you
Hey! We charge £3,500 for a local Scottish wedding and the product is a 3-5 minutes highlights film and a 20-25 minute feature film.
@@DroneFilmGuide Your content is amazing thank you so much you have inspired me to make 2020 my year. Watch this space guys :) love your work and as i said in another comment you get back what you put out....you guys are certiainly putting it out there. I intend to buy the masterclass ASAP I was wondering how many hours of editing does it take for you to produce the product above now that you have your methodology and processes locked in and would I be able to achieve the same after doing the masterclass and obviously putting the time and effort in myself.
@@DroneFilmGuide do you include Music? If so, Your selection or Couple's?
Would you recommend being in 4k and zooming in as to stay back for safety and noise. Mavic Air2s zoom would take it down to a 1080p minimum. I think it would also help with any lower obstacles.
Thanks
Flew my drone for the first time after 3 years, and this was for a wedding 😅 after some practice i was feeling confident, as soon as the ceremony started- the drone crashed into a tree 🤣 had to get the GM and gardener to come quietly help me get it out or the tree
Would you suggest using a mavic mini at a wedding?
no mavic minis have no obstacle detection
i have the mavic air 2 and the mini and i shoot exclusively with the air 2, if you use the mini you need to be a very good pilot
What software do you use for your editing course?
We use FCPX in the editing section of the Masterclass. We focus on concepts rather than what buttons to press though so it's applicable to any platform really.
Which one is better mavic 3 or another for wedding shoot ?
Whatever has the best picture quality
Can i use my avata?
How to charge price for drone service?
You think a Spark is a good tool to shoot wedding videos?
Sure!
Hi folks, as a newbie , I am trying to decide if your cause is the best way to go, I have no experience in any of the areas you talk about and at the same time it has my interest. I just purchased my first drone, a ski mini2, arrives tomorrow. Your master class looks good but I know nothing about editing. I looked at the Filmora editor you have a link to. I do not intend to make the next Ten Commandments film, maybe wedding, events etc. I know you said beginners but my experience with people who say they are instructors teach at rocket speeds and fly through screens. I think you may get my point. At my age I want something fun and allows me to be able to bring great memories to others. Are you right for me? Looking forward to hearing from you. Michael
Hey Michael! Thank you for your message! The first thing I would say is that our course has a 30 day, no questions asked, money back guarantee so there is no downside to checking it out. It is certainly an intensive learning experience with no wasted words, and undoubtedly you will want to go back and watch sections again but with over 2000 having taken the course, there has been universal approval of the delivery of the content in terms of its clarity and structure so I don't think you'll have an issue there. Let us know if you have any other questions!
@@DroneFilmGuide Thank you for your quick reply. As long as Amazon makes it today I will have my Mini 2. I will learn to fly it with a little proficiency, a couple of days , shortly after that School Time. Oh then I have to learn about the business side. I hope to one day visit Scotland. We lice in the State of Washington. Can’t wait to fly. I was learning to fly Helicopters recently, but I ruptured my ear drum on a dive while in Hawaii. Dump thing to do since I’ve been diving since 1982. Looking forward to your class.

Hi guys! Thanks for the great videos. I'll probably buy your masterclass 2.0 soon as I am starting my own drone video production business in the Netherlands. Question: is a Mini 2 good enough for weddings? And if not, do you recommend a Mavic 3 or some other drone more?
Hey! Certainly, the Mini 2 is good enough in terms of picture quality. Very nice 4K with full manual control. If you can afford it then the Air 2S gives lots of benefits but you really don't need to go up to the Mavic 3. You'll have a lot of gear to carry for weddings so the smaller size of the Air 2S is beneficial.
@@DroneFilmGuide thanks for that in depth reply! Is there a reason to choose the Mavic 2 Pro over the Air 2S if you know?
@@DroneFilmGuide Anyway I just bought your Masterclass 2.0. Looking forward to starting the course!
Aline, give us your best Professor McGonagall
Hello... i m Anshul from India.
& i m also using drone..
I need some help regarding phantom 4 drone.
It's sort of covered under tip 2 but I always check the weather in advance (as I explain to videographer that I can't fly in rain) and direction of the sun and time of sun set, in order to plan shots in advance
mavic ari 2 use four wedding ok not
It’s only in 360p bro?
Yeah, I was getting all stressy about that but it's giving the HD options now. Seems to have been a bit of a lag in the processing even though it claimed it was done when I published it. Should be all good now!
Drone Film Guide either way I still got both of yours advice. Great videos.
Hi Stewart and Alina,
Firstly, may I thank you for all the wonderful videos you produce and for being kind enough to share your knowledge and experience.
I always set the toggle to Unlisted when I start the upload to CZcams because I regularly find that there is several hours delay before all resolutions up to 4K become available. I use the time to change the end screens and make sure that I am happy with the CZcams versions before I change to Public and publish.
Thanks for the advice! Looks like that's what happened there but only for 10 minutes fortunately.
Came for the content, stayed for the accents.
Alina, you are beautiful..;)
Ok, so with shooting, are you guys just following the photographer, or as the drone operators are you “directing” the shots? “Stand here, walk there, kiss her now, ok climb up there (lol)etc?
These shots are done without the photographer (or with them fidgeting at your side harassing you to hurry up only to be told to effin' beat it as is more often the case). The standard direction would be walk up there, stand and hug or have a chat when you get there then wait for our direction to walk back. This gives you 3 minutes to get your shots, hence the need to have a plan. It's not easy!
Drone Film Guide ok wow lol thanks for the reply 👍🏾 ..I’m new to all of this I’m using a Mavic Pro and your page and experience has been the most attractive to me for what I plan to do ✌🏾(joined the club as well)
Almost anywhere in the world requires a license 👀 Not here
Tip #1...Alina should be in every video! Smokin!
First!!!
Tip 4 and spelling....oh the irony. Good video though.
Ooooh...a bit of egg on your face for this one matey...practice (noun)...practise (verb)!
and I'll take it graciously...all fun and realised the mistake of my own grammar too late...also a ribbing off my wife....I'll stick to flying drones ;)
@@MikeyMcManus Thing is, I Googled it before exporting the video just to make sure so I can't claim any intellectual high-ground on this one!
@@DroneFilmGuide haha well played! It caught me off guard....google first, scorn last...them's the rules ;)
Drone Film Guide Not in the US. Interesting.
Tip number 13, most marriages last only 2 to 4 years.
Great Video! Thank you
