- Drone cinematography allows you to share the world from a bird’s perspective, but conquering the skies can be a bit overwhelming. In this video, you will learn what it takes to master your aircraft’s controls, maximize flight time, get the most from your aircraft’s camera - and ultimately, produce stunning aerial footage. #Drone #Cinematography #Tutorial

"Throughout this entire video the word "Cinematic" will be used only once. And that was it."
You're a gem hahaha! I've learned to despise that now meaningless word
@Lost Creek Films, I am so glad to discover that somebody shares my sense of humor. Can't watch anything camera related here without hearing that damn word a gazillion times 😝😝😝
This is by far the most professional, inforamtive tutorial I have ever seen. Thank you for including the stick positions in each shot also!
Many thanks @FlyBy 👍 Greatly appreciate the kind words and happy to hear you found the stick overlay helpful 😃😃😃
100% agreed
Completely Agree!! Brilliant!
agree
Yes, took me a bit to notice that since I didn't start out full screen but thought that was really neat and useful!
I cannot believe this video only got 119k views. It deserves millions of views!! Stick positions are reallllyyyy helpful, all of the footages are amazing, and the variations of the shots are overwhelming. I will definitely rewatch the video tons of times to master these shots! Thank you so much for the video.
Thanks @tenna4807 😃 Greatly appreciate the feedback and happy to hear you found it helpful👍👍👍
Came to learn... stayed for how well behaved your dog is and your ability to talk through snow blowing into your face. Great work as always Neil!
Haha... @C R, it's warm coastal snow - could almost be considered some sort of spa treatment when compared to cold blowing prairie snow 🤣 Cousteau is generally very well behaved, but as you can see in this video he often ends up on a leash. Mountain tops are dangerous places and if you happen to be a dog that enjoys crazily running around, without any care for anyone's wellbeing - then a leash can be a life saver 👍👍👍
@@neilfisher Too bad your dog forgot to never have your back to the audience :P
There are so many of these videos rehashing the same info but I feel this is the best one.
Many thanks @Darian Rundall Media 👍 Appreciate the feedback😃😃😃
dude you are crazy, you explained literally every detail. thank you man.
and thank you cousteau.
This presentation is phenomenal!!!! Thank you for all this information and providing it in such an organized and clear format.
Damn, I learnt so much from such a short video. Highly under rated
Thanks @mujthabahassan7614 😃 Greatly appreciate the feedback and happy to hear you found it helpful👍👍👍
The Dogs Arcteryx jacket is amazing! lol Love this video. Very informative
@Robert Emerson he loves his jacket and expects it once we pause at any summit. He works just as hard as me climbing and trudging through the deep snow, and once or twice in the past showed obvious signs of being cold once we stopped moving, but since throwing a warm jacket on him - Cousteau is happier than ever with hiking in the winter 😃😃😃
I've watched dozens of these videos on this topic in the last month since getting my first drone and I have to say, this his hands-down the best. Thank you! I especially appreciate the graphic at the bottom showing control inputs for each clip. Bravo!
Many thanks @Fight to Fly Photography 😃 Greatly appreciate the feedback and happy to hear you found it helpful👍👍👍
This is what drone tutorials should be like!!

Your channel is the first channel I've come across that had your drone movements on the screen and I really appreciate that, as a new drone operator.
Thanks @Brad MacMillan 😃 Greatly appreciate the feedback and happy to hear you found it helpful👍👍👍
You won me over with "slow is smooth and smooth is fast". The S.E.A.L. motto! Something that everyone should live by! In every aspect of life! A do over, a death, slows you down!
You are an awesome influence. Cousteau is mighty. This is top shelf content. Thank you. I liked and subscribed.
Thanks @123abc0410 😃 Greatly appreciate the feedback and happy to hear you found it helpful👍👍👍
I love the stick position display. Very clever and helpful. I also love the animations explaining certain aspects. I also really appreciate your determination to continue, even in less than perfect weather!

Thanks @Mike-VR 😃 Greatly appreciate the feedback👍👍👍
This is an excellent reference resource video. I am just beginning to use my DJI mini 3 pro and I live in the perfect location for this type of cinematography. I am taking notes and you have gained a new sub. 👍🙌🇲🇽
Thanks @thedigitalexpat 😃 Greatly appreciate the feedback and happy to hear you found it helpful👍👍👍
Production quality on point again✨ I now why I've subscribed ✌🏼 I really like that you showed the sticks you used to achieve the shots
Many thanks @CNMTCFilms 👍 I've always felt that sharing information about how imagery was capture only serves to benefit others. I wish that I had thought to note the EXIF information for the bRoll shots, but unfortunately it doesn't appear as though DJI aircraft embedded such information within video files.
Great video and content, just bought my first drone and getting started with capturing footage and trying to create some content. Videos like yours are really helpful and I think that the way you are showing the stick movements for some of the compound movements is great. Keep up the great content, really appreciated.
Thanks @supercleancreative 😃 Greatly appreciate the feedback and happy to hear you found it helpful👍👍👍

Thanks @Jörg Meier 😃 Greatly appreciate the feedback and happy to hear you found it helpful👍👍👍
Solid method acting by Cousteau. He deserves treats!
You're so very right @fakehuman1 - Cousteau looks calm and well mannered, but when the camera is turned off... he's a energetic beast 😂😂😂
What an insightful and well-produced video. Lovely to see Neil actively responding to commenters on this video as of 6 days ago. Cheers from Australia.

Gotta tell you, man. These videos are awesome and I love what you have to share, but it hurts just a tiny bit when you see someone living your dream. (obviously i am joking. Keep it up man. And keep inspiring).

The best produced and most informative video on the often overlooked (in favor of gear) skills. As others have mentioned, the stick positions overlayed in the frames are beautifully informative. Kudos for NOT inlcuding the pleathora of usual cliche (Take it to the next level, cinematic, epic.....)
I liked the puppy dog too.

This is such nifty advice, for even a Mavic 2 Pro owner. It's such a helpful tip be aware of how much control you can have over how fast the drone can move. After watching this, any mistakes made can be attributed to lack of practice.
Thanks @Tye Johnson 😃 Greatly appreciate the feedback👍👍👍

What a great video - thank you. More of those instructionals would be appreciated... 7:26 like your cute doggins too bro lol. You know what i find exciting about the prospect of drone footage is that suddenly not only are you looking for good composed shots, but youve moving through 3d space as well. "how will this lighthouse look if i fly up past this crag and up over to the sun" stuff like that. Maybe a mavic pro is the thing i need to save up for, take that to wales and scotland. Hmm :) Cheers
I love your dog. ❤ He looks my dog Cuda.
Thanks @donnagould7834, happy to hear Cousteau has another fan out there - as well as a doppelganger or two 😃😃😃
Don't mind me. I'm here to learn.
