@@AntonTenitsky Sure is but a lot of my pipeline have switch to blender so i got very familiar with it. I use coat mostly for painting now and destructive sculpting since it is light years ahead of blender in term of tools and speed.
Retopoflow addon can not even be compared to 3D Coats retopo room. It is just an addon that locks away regular Blender modeling functionality into the background and offers just the most basic tools that specialized retopo software toolsets like Topogun had a decade ago, but without any ability to use regular needed modeling operations like in vanilla Blender or 3D Coat. 3D Coat Retopo is lightyears ahead and way more advanced than Retopoflow. There is no similar powerful tool to the smart retopo brush inside Retopoflow. Tops, retopoflow costs almost 100 bucks, jus for an addon that offers only a fraction of 3D Coats toolset. Can you UV map during a retopo session with Retopoflow? Can you do test bakes and check your normal maps? Mark hard edges witthout having to leave retopo mode and go constantly back n forth? People doing lots of retopo would profit much more spending that money and time on 3D Coat instead of Retopo Flow. Plus, 3D Coats Blender Applink makes it a breeze to send objects between 3D Coat and Blender.
Cool but is it necessary to make retopo manualy whereas 3ds max does it automatically quite perfect and in addition new unreal engine can operate with 312 bilions polys in a scene?
Well good for 3ds max. I don't have it and I don't intend to pay for it. 3D Coat has great autoretopo as well. I'm showing different capabilities for different needs. People have been asking me for retopo videos forever. Unreal can run with 300 billion triangles but how much hard drive space will it use on your phone?
@@AntonTenitsky for now even old 3d-engines are so strong that it is not necessary to make lowpoly retopo.taking into account present tecnology for autoretopology we can say that humantity is on edge of making full-value auto-retopology in the form of middle-poly retopo. It can happen that all our skills about lowpoly retopo can become dead

Anton, why don't you use the mode Quadrangulation? For example 2:52, 4:15, 5:27

what about wheel retopo he-he
it's actually pretty easy because you can have radial symmetry set to 12 (for example) and retopo all the wheel
