If I wanted to retopo parts of a mesh but they might have different polycounts, how would I unite them into one mesh and re retopo them so the edge flow is correct?
Very Helpful thanks Anton! Do you have any suggestions when bringing in more than 1 object into 3dcoat for rendering? This part is causing me some major frustration. I can for sure bring into Blender but wanted to look at this as an additional way to not have to go between applications for concept art.
Well you just use import options? I'm not sure what's the problem. It takes time to bring 50 objects. But 5 is ok. 50 objects I'd combine together somewhere else and bring in 3d coat as one
it's great to see what the AUTOPO with XYZ options actually meant :D never knew that I could auto retopo and pack the UV's in one button :)
Good explanation and examples, thanks Anton!
I can't tell you how much I appreciate this one. It's great having it all completely laid out like this.
thank you!
Finally it seem like 3d coat autopo has beaten quadremesher!
This looks way way better tbh
Excellent tips. Very helpful Anton. Take care...
Спасибо за туторы по коату!
Mine hangs on "Stitching edges." I haven't been able to get a single retopo obj from my current sculpt.
I'm getting this software now.
Appreciate it ! I really want more users for 3d coat. They need more funds for development. Very tiny developer crew

Strange, I tried to do exactly as you, and ended up with a strange mess of triangles.
hm, really depends on the mesh, I'd advice to jump on our discord to walk through it

@@AntonTenitsky thank you again for the response I’ll attempt again
is this good for gaming animation?
