Avoiding sun damage is the best thing to do for our skin for sure! This is good advice to have your healthy glow Carter !
absolutely!!
Avoid sun damage but not the sun 😉
👍
I have taken Astaxanthin now for over 2 months, both morning and night together with fatty meals. There has been absolutely no change in the color of my skin, which makes me lose hope. These supplements were so ridiculously expensive and are used up so quickly. I feel scammed, I wish this worked, but apparently it does not.
Maybe try eating food with tomato sauce everyday to see if there's a difference?
Thing about supplements is that the bioavailability of the actual vitamin content is wayyyy down. So instead eating raw carrots, beets, sweet potatoes, etc will be way cheaper and actually provide you with way more health benefits long term. Just eat like a small pack of carrots everyday or non-pesticide bugs bunny size carrots a day and I garuntee you within half a year you will see results.
@@sabana7564 don't carrots turn the skin a weird yellow from the beta-carotene? How much tomatoes do you think a person need to eat to start having a pinkish tint? I heard somewhere that cooked tomatoes have more lycopene (the trade off being little vitamin C) but that was Del Monte speaking so don't know if it's true.
Scammed? That’s dramatic He’s not making money off of whatever supplement you bought. Not everything is going to work for everyone
I started to test drinking carrot and beet juice everyday and I have seen a difference in my skin color! But you must start by juicing about 10 carrots a day then once your skin reaches the pigment that you want you can start to consume less

Hey Evie!! Yes, i'm surprised most people don't realize what an effect the diet has on skin color. The only time I see people talking about it is from carrots/beta carotene, but that tends to look weirdly orange in high amounts, but there is a whole spectrum of carotenoids to explore!

There's people of color that look blue and greyish so they look pale even being dark i think caroten would bring a glow to the skin
From my research different carotenoids will compete for absorption. This means its best to take Lycopene alone because it has the most potent pigment of them all (and it is reddish instead of yellow). Also it is cheaper - I will make an experiment with lycopene powder from bulk supps (because they are 3rd party tested. Dont buy from ebay because they will sell you tomatoe powder that is not concentrated.)
Thoughts on the other carotenoids like lutein, and zeaxanthin?
I’ve been taking it for a couple months but no luck… just upset and red bowels. 😭
Hey Eviba, what is the minimum age these supplements can be taken? I'm 15 and I also don't want to end up with wrinkles when I get older.
Has anyone gotten results from this? I found a combined product on amazon for the exact dose he recommends. It was only $30 for 50 day supply. The reviews were favorable for actually seeing skin color change, though it isn’t marketed for that. This ginger for one is hopeful
My weird question is, if people have lectin intolerance or histamine problem, does lycopene have the same triggering compounds or not? I haven't seen lycopene supplement which is extracted from pink grapefruit, apricots, watermelon, it's always tomatoes.
Does it have to be soft gel supplements?
Would this work on a redhead who doesn't normally tan? I burn
For anyone who tried this, does this actually work?
When is part 2?

So what supplements would you suggest and where to purchase?

used it for about 2 months now, every day, the exact same dosage as you said, and I was (still am) as white as I was before just like you were here 0:01 It didn't changed my skin color in the slightest.
When I first saw your video you have no idea how much hope you gave me back into my life for a moment. I instantly ordered it, because I thought I can finally break free of this pale skin that I (especially) developed from not being able to leave my house anymore because of extreme BDD problems (But I never really tanned anyways, I'm pretty much like your before picture just lighter hair).. I thought if I could just finally get a normal skin color and look at least a bit normal and feel normal in my own skin and not feel like I'm imprisoned in my own body, a change like you showed in this video, I hoped that It could give me that needed boost and make leaving my house a bit easier again, bringing back any motivation to live life. but unfortunately in vain. Any other fake Tanning option is not really an option for me, sadly. Never looks good or natural on a guy that is as white as your before picture. And Real sun, even if I get to go outside, somehow, it's not an option that I could keep up (not that I would get any color). As a kid I could tan but not anymore for some reason, not even after 3 weeks in spain. I just don't know what to do anymore.

What have you done exactly ? were you just taking the supplements or did you have a carotenoid-rich diet too ? also, at the end of the videos he says he used two other methods to change his skin tone. I hope you'll get what you want.
Hey, try looking into Melanotan2 just want to preface that there are definitely some potential side effects so please do proper research but also if your skin tone really affects your body image that much i think it’d be better long term to learn to accept the skin you’ve been blessed with
I'm wondering if the photosensitizers can also darken skin, because since i take massive doses of B2+red light/sunlight,my skin went from pale to olive.
The problem is,i think, is that the melanocytes react to the oxidative stress produced by that stack.
Thoughts?
If I'm dark to begin with, what would my skin color turn into?
First of all you are super charismatic. Im gonna try this now and gonna take the same ammounts as you. I will come back to this comment in 3 months and report if it worked for me. The science behind it makes sense, but im afraid to buy a supplement which doesnt have good quality standards.
Thank you! That is good to hear because I am so worried about being awkward on camera.
Awesome!! Yes, quality is always a concern with unregulated supps. I feel like asta specifically is often under dosed. I linked the ones I take at evibacarter.com and got good results from them (not affiliated) if you want to do the same as me.
Also always take carotenoids with a fatty meal for absorption and get additional carotenoids from your diet too. I eat plenty of sweet potato and bell pepper, for example
2 months how it’s going?
how is it going?
It's going very well. I followed the instructions he provided in his comment under mine. Afer 1.5 months I stopped taking Lycopin because I ran out and it was too expensive for me, so I just started drinking tomato juice, because just like he mentioned lycopin (and the others too) are contained in foods anyway, lycopin especially in tomatoes. I don't have the exact same results as him, but that's due to the fact, that I live in a very very dark place in Germany, luckily not extremely cold like Denmark or Norway, but just as dark and way more rainy. As soon as the fall comes we only have very few hours of daylight and it stays like this till April. The hours when there is daylight are usually very cloudy and rainy. What im trying to say is, most people here including me are pale as vampires. So im not super teined (like him) but relativley its a HUGE difference to the snow-white skin color I usually have during this time of the year. Also I will go to the solarium tomorrow (its a big deal here, people find it helps with the winter depression which comes with the darkest months) and I have the theory that I will get way more teined than usually after the solarium.@@juliusclausen4348

Do I have to take both Astaxanthin and Lycopene? If I had to choose one, which one would you recommend?
You got a answer? 😄
Hello! Is it safe to take these two supplements while on accutane 30mg/day?
This is a question for your doctor. Isotretinoin(accutane), astaxanthin, and lycopene are all in the same structural family, although astaxanthin and lycopene do not cause symptoms of hypervitaminosis A at any dose. Still, some doctors advise that you do not take carotenoid supplements, just to play it safe. However the counter argument here is that astaxanthin moisturizes the skin and is photo-protective so it may reduce side effects of accutane. Ultimately should be a decision you make with your doctor.
Great! Thanks for your answear!
Better to get lycopene from cooked tomatoes with some fat for better absorption.

Hi Eviba, thanks for making this video. Are you not concerned about the lowered DHT levels as a result of this higher dose of asta? I find it strange you are commenting there is no harm in taking these supplements long-term and wonder where you are getting your information from? I want to do this and wondering if you have a different angle on this topic. Thanks again.
hi lechad!
lol obviously not suffering from loss of libido and gyno, not even a little bit. that would not be worth it at all.
Don’t believe the fearmongering. Astaxanthin does not lower DHT significantly. This comes from a study where they tested a multi-supplement for prostate health with a bunch of known DHT inhibitors in it, it also had astaxanthin. People quote that study like it was the astaxanthin that was able to reduce DHT, and not the saw palmetto and others.
most common sides are mild GI upset. I have had no side effects at all
Gotcha, I reviewed those studies and you're correct it's not asta in isolation (i'm assuming you don't care for rodent studies). Was only curious, apologies if it came across as accusatory. Thanks for the very swift response time i do appreciate that a lot. Another question, if you don't mind of course. I'm currently saturated on beta-carotene and I may have a bit of self bias but don't believe it looks unnatural, I find it quite subtle honestly, however would you say it's unnecessary to take beta-carotene whilst taking this combo? Beta carotene is metabolized to vit A, lycopene and asta are not. Most carotenoids do not turn into vitamin A. And even beta carotene is not associated with hypervitaminosis A as the conversion is so limited

none for me or anyone i know, but upset stomach/GI issues are a rare side effect in some people.

Why do these supplements have calories? Between the 2 it’s an extra 15 calories
@@valerie4912 carotenoids are fat-soluble and the absorption is improved when they are formulated in an oil-filled gel cap. The calories are from a small amount of oil. I don’t know about you but i’m not sweating 15 Cals.
also theses should be consumed with food that contains fat too

Thank you 😊
I have had no side effects which I was surprised by since I’m so sensitive to things
Thanks, dude, I'll have to try this!
I've always been pale, even though I spend a decent amount of time outside. I've never been able to really tan, and the attempts at trying to tan in my teens just resulted in me getting sunburned with a severe reaction of "hell's itch."
It would be cool to not be a vampire for once after 29 years.
Did it work for you?

The damage these are doing to the liver is very serious.
Only fake tan or tanning will do but you have to sacrifice your skin collagen for the tan.
avoiding the sun is the worst you can do for health along with eating tons of veggies. Dr Jack Kruse. Nice tan
Bs, he’s using a spray tan lol
this is bs
