Oh my word, the childlike joy radiating from Jeremy when he discovered he OWNED this coat, and then the kids' delight in the fulfillment of their shared secret with Melissa, and your eldest manchild saying, "Manly" in his best growly voice... The difference in years is never too big, especially in families that are rooted in God's grace and love for one another. Children grow well as they learn from other siblings with good examples and love for each other.

And the oldest son will have the option to live in the apartment above the garage that they're going to be building.Other than that one does it bother you?They've been all in one room This is going to feel like it's heavenly to just have to in the room.Don't be offended It's not your house It's not your family It's not your call.
That coat for Jeremy not only made him very happy, I think I enjoyed it as much as he did vicariously! Happy for you Jeremy. When you get something that you would never ever buy for yourself because it is more extravagant than you would ever allow yourself, but you really want in your heart of hearts, it makes your heart sing. I can't tell you how much joy it has brought me watching you through this journey. It seems like it has all come together so fast but of course we are only seeing 30 minute snippets of the reality that you lived through. So happy and proud of the entire family for all of these accomplishments! And, Jeremy's face when he realized the coat was his was priceless!!

👍 I couldn't be happier for all of you, after the camper and the tiny house, emptying the toilet bucket, doing the laundry outside, working long days in the heat and the cold now is the payoff for all the sacrifice and hard work.
As much as Jeremy does for the family, it's wonderful to see his face light up when the unexpected good things come to him. The coat was a silly Man Goals perk, but it's so great that someone cared enough to get it for him. Jeremy does rock the man-bear swagger! The end of the beginning is at hand; enjoy it, and on to the next stage of the adventure.

I find these CZcams sites primarily to watch construction and or blue water sailing. Every once in a while, a GEM, not expected, presents itself. A double win but in your case, with the emphasis on family. Your kids are beautiful, seem happy and content with the changes going on in their lives. But we know that great, well behaved kids come from great, well intended parents. Wow, you all have it all. So wonderful to watch parenting, child growth, and of course, the construction of your new home. Good on you. You are doing it right!

Just some advice from someone who had log beds. You are going to need plywood or something under those mattresses or they will conform to the slats of the bed and be ruined in less than six months. It did it to our box spring that had a wood frame. So something you may want to consider. You guys are amazing and I have loved watching you build your dream as I recovered from cancer. It helped give me the drive on days I didn't have it. Congratulations on all you have accomplished!!
Big houses need Big woodstoves. Having our well designed wood stove as a back up REALLY helps us to sleep better. Now we are ALSO looking into Solar. Back ups for the back ups? Love it. 👍

I have a ideal . Take apiece of sewerage pipe and two caps . Cut it long enough for your blue prints . Drill holes to hang in your pantry near the ceiling or glue hangers to the pipe to hang on the wall . roll your blue prints and slide in the pipe put caps on each end don’t glue . You’ll always know where your prints are safe in the tube . Just a idea
