I just ordered this off Amazon. (October 2020) Most of the reviews around the time frame of this review had MAJOR issues with printing. I believe Hay House got control of the issue finally though, and the deck I received today was absolutely PERFECT from a printing standpoint. Not only that, but the back side is black, and the black is consistent through all the cards (I used to work in printing so this is a BIG pet peeve of mine!) So in case you guys want to order this deck, I haven’t seen any issues lately in reviews, and the one I received from Amazon was perfect. One thing... It’s so weird-the cards don’t seem super thick individually, but the deck is so thick! It’s hard to get my hands around them! 😂They riffle shuffle great though, and I haven’t had any of the issues I have with the glossy decks. Plus, I just LOVE this artwork, it’s SO intuitive for me! (Oh, and I believe Hay House and/or Amazon will replace your damaged deck for you if anyone has a deck that came damaged.)😘 Much love to you!!!

Good to hear Hay House (abbreviated and then thought better of it, lol!) got a handle on this. Its a lovely deck, especially the 6 Cups, Death, and Magician cards, and I'd hate for it to be spoiled by poor quality control.
Purchased the deck a few weeks ago and it is in perfect shape 😊
The bending is from the printer! Its probably a massive industrial printer that produces thousands of prints very quickly. If the cardstock is still warm and it goes through the cutting cycle, that can interfere with the end result. The creator needs to contact the printing company and request the cardstock cool down before cutting. That why only the first few are warped!
This was my first tarot deck and I fell in love. I’m not bothered by the fact that I “missed out” on the Kickstarter, I subscribe to the belief that I lean into situations when it’s my time, and likewise, objects find me according to Divine Right Timing... I’m grateful, and I’m enjoying how polarizing this deck is... it means it’s the deck for me. 🤘🤓
The artwork is stunning and the feeling I get from this deck is VIBRANT. Looks like I was lucky with the deck I received, it doesn’t have an glaring errors, and I’ve been using it often...
I love that! It's been turning into my go to deck. Usually I will turn to my Everyday Witch tarot first, but this has a different energy about it. So, they are competing for my attention at the moment. Haha. Even with the deck flaws, I still treasure it.
I love love love these cards. No technical or production issues for my deck.They came in perfect condition and are very easy to read. One of my fave tarot decks to work with.
This deck is one of the best gifts I've received so far! A client gave it to me because she wanted me to do a unboxing and review for her and I cannot wait to start using this cards on my readings!

That six of cups! Oh, my heart! This deck is beautiful!
I know! The six of cups is one that I look at in every deck. Its associated with nostalgia and childhood for me, and as an AMAB (assigned male at birth) nonbinary person who had a dog I absolutely adored as a child who died when I was off at college, this is in my top three fav cards in the deck, along with Death and the Magician.
Since it's one size that is creased my guess is that the other size are replacing the cards that was to creased to be "saved" that probably was picked in their quality control. It looks like they were either stored some what miss fit in a box or got a small piece of stone or similar under one side. Not that uncommon in printing flyers or booklets. So my guess is either it's a new printer or a printer usually not working with game cards, Tarot cards and similar. Some years ago now would be interesting to se how they are nowadays. Reasons for that could be everything from budget to, using a printer one has worked with earlier in for example book publishing. That crease would be noticeable but generally not 17:49 as big a difference in a book, booklet or flyer... since more people had noted on it, my guess are the printer are not generally working with these types of cards, have a feeling they might have worked with bookmarks the quality you do describe sounds a lot like bookmarks
I'm completely new to tarot and oracle and this deck was my first purchase. I love the artwork and diversity of it. I also like the dinky size of the cards as I don't have massive hands 😁 No bent cards or anything, fortunately.

I recently purchased my deck from Hay House, I love the deck and my card stock does not look as flimsy as the ones you are shuffling. So maybe they did improve the quality. Thank you for doing this review.v
Fav cards (in no particular order):
1) the Fool: If I like the Fool card I USUALLY end up really liking the deck.
2) the Magician: I love the image of the hooded enby figure scrying in a pool showing a galaxy.
3) the Empress: I LOVE the symbolism of the Earth as her belly. Lends such a wider symbolism to the pregnancy/giving birth symbolism!
Basically the entire Major Arcana is lovely.
4) Death, the Devil, the Tower: Ho-lee REDACTED. I always look at these three cards because these can be, well, intimidating and there's a lot of stuff built up around them. I love this take. I'm almost tempted to use the Death card as an altar card.
5) 6 Cups: This is a card I always look at in a deck. The six of cups is all about childhood and nostalgia for me, and as someone who's AMAB and grew up with a dog who passed away while I was off at college, this hits DEEP.
6) 10 Cups: This is such a perfect take on this card!
7) King of Cups
8) 3 Swords
9) 10 Swords
10) 10 Pentacles
11) 10 of Wands
I try to avoid ordering from Bezos Co aka Amazon as much as possible, that said, I just ordered a Mothers' Day gift for my mom and a copy of this deck. I've bought a ton of decks recently, so made myself wait and getting it delivered on the sixth.
I got this deck and IT'S SO BEAUTIFUL. I have none of these issues so I guess they've been fixed now. The card stock is sturdy and they shuffle like a dream. No bending or size issue. I connected so much better with this deck compared to my first deck. ps - I'm a beginner and this deck is my second. Love reading with this deck❤️

I must have gotten a later printing because I don't have any of the problems talked about here. The card stock is not heavy and thick like oracle cards but it is not flimsy and the deck doesn't divide into two halves.
I got mine last month, no production issues from the video. They're all the same size, no bending or folding, everything looks good. They are thin though.

I saw all over fb alot of ppl are complaining and sending them back and getting replacements. I just ordered this deck I hope I wont have an issue with them.
Oh man... hopefully it is just a bad batch. I'll look into getting a replacement, but that is such a hassle. Hopefully yours is perfect! I really do like it a lot other than the manufacturing issue.
I saw there is a coffret coming out of this tarot deck on septembre 22 2020, with a big guide book that looks just amazing, but I can only find it in french. Do you know if there is an english version out there ? Because the tarot deck you showed seem to have only the small guide book.

I'm so excited to get my deck soon! I'm not a professional reader, so if mine have a bend it won't bother me, but if I made a living from it, I'd definitely send them back. That little niggle every time you use them will detract from the joy (imho).
My cards are not flimsy. The cards deck was bought in a book store. They look identical to your deck. Unfortunately you have a defective deck of cards.

Everyone I've watched goes all gooey over the 6 of cups. It's sooooo gorgeous. I'm totally in love with this deck. I've edged in purple to distract myself from the poor cutting of cards. HH will replace my decks in August when they come back into stock. They were actually very quick and nice in getting back to me about how badly they were done

No any bendings on my deck
Just got this deck yesterday. So pretty! This is my 3rd tarot deck, and while I love the imagery, kinda finding it hard to ripple shuffle, at least compared to the other 2 that I have. Still a great deck, and mine had no issues out of the box besides the shuffling issue
Don’t shuffle hard on your decks. Respect them ripple shuffling isn’t good. Be gentle ❤❤

yes! I believe they have completely fixed the issues and I just got a bad batch - however I adore it for its now unique style

They have fixed the issue now so if you are wanting to purchase, you shouldn't have the same problem I did

Between the bad cutting, poor card stock and the removal of the original 10 of Swords,sadly, I have decided to return the deck. Thank you so much! I did not reach out because I really felt connected to this odd ball deck I recieved. The more I worked with it, the more the different sized cards didnt bother me. Had the deck not been usable, I would have returned it. But I really didnt want to deal with the hassle, as bad as that sounds. Try reordering from them again now that a few batches have gone out. I've heard it got fixed.

hay house obviously has no control over the production process in China. I received the product yesterday and my deck has an awful toxic smell and the cards are arching
Aw I'm kinda bummed. I've been looking for a deck (been watching a lot of your reviews) and finally the artwork in this REALLY SPOKE TO ME, but the issues I see have put me off gah! I'm on the fence about getting it now...
I've heard the new batches are totally fine. They have also replaced decks that were like mine. Hopefully that helps

This is upsetting. I have the same deck and they’re my favorite deck. I never had this issue. No indents and my card stock is thick.
Its been fixed now. I believe I just got a bad batch. But I still use it and love it.
