- Hey, how's it going everyone?! Welcome to Soloing the Ark. I'm Phlinger Phoo. In The Underdogs series, I plan on seeing just how far the Dino's no one ever cares about can actually go. Can Hyena's Take on the Broodmother? Can Calicotherium fight the Overseer? Can you run the caves with just an Iguanodon? I plan on finding out, for the little guys, the dreamers, for the UnderDogs! I look forward to testing out so many things in this challenge!

One big thing of a megalania is that you can use thim in abb and also are immune to radiation ! so you can easily get a rockdrake egg early game and just clim your way back up !

If they were to TLC the crap outta the megalania, it would be so much better. In other games, they can stand upright with their back hunched, which would be a cool feature. And a venom attack against CREATURES would be cool. Like their living counterpart (komodo dragon), they could bite a larger animal and wait for it to die. It'd kind of be like a bleed, but with venom.
I vibrate with the anticipation of watching this... coffee ready, let's do this Phlinger!!😊

They should TLC the megalania and allow its venom bites to effect pve creatures also.
Watching the non jumping tames do fall damage tests has me picturing a series of diving boards over flat ground, haha. Dire bear from 4 walls high probably dies on impact
Also, I hear construction in the background. Getting another wing added to Phoo Manor?
Stand still attack is claws... I got mine doing 100+ damage, breed and dump into Melee, great for caves
I guess that is one way of getting the toxin for the monkey boss.
Some dinos jump, some fly, some glide, this one climbs! I'm not sold on calling it a utility tame, but I enjoy having a different way to travel or use in caves.

Speaking of big Lizards. The other day you were talking about slow walking through bases while crafting. Have you tried the "Sarcobelt"? You put things in it's tail and take them out it's head. Always enjoy the vids

Just want to point out, as I’ve been watching the series, that the stamina regen is also dependent on the creatures health. So if a creatures health is low, you can’t say it’s over all regen is slow because it naturally comes back much slower the lower the health. Just like with your character. So to truly test these things, you should probably test the regen at full health first vs waiting til the creature is beaten up. Just my opinion.

I love my Megalania (Yoshi). I leveld Health and Weight. I go caving with him and shot the bad stuff, with guns, from the ceiling XD.
Also lava cave. No jump needed but bats would be scary ....love to see it
Good for caves. Just crawl along the wall when faced with jumping puzzles. Or if you have a tree house.
Hey Phlinger Phoo, what’s your favorite creature in the game? For me it’s a tie between the Deinonychus or Poison Wyvern(Mainly because the Poison Wyvern is my favorite color) but I’m interested to know yours

Hey Phlinger, enjoying this series. Can you help me locate that tidal pool near the west coast of the island? You mentioned it as a good place for small water tames. I can't find it and could use some coordinates. Keep the videos coming.
I believe the one he is referring to is located at [75, 35].
On the map, Look for an island with a lake in the middle of it. On the southern side of this island, There is a small inlet with access to the ocean and it can be easily sealed off with some walls or a dino gate.
It's a nice sized pool, able to fit megalodon size and smaller.
BEWARE: This is a spino spawn, so be sure to place plenty of foundations around.
BONUS: If you climb the west hill next to the inlet, you will see a large rock formation, and inside it is a neat little Grove with an explorer note or two.

My question is why even add this dino if it's so rushed
Its animations are garbage, its model is cartoonish, it barely makes sounds
and their stats are so aggressively bad, their saddle is so high level, and they take SO many narcotics, it's like they didn't WANT anybody to tame it
