- Hey, how's it going everyone?! Welcome to Soloing the Ark. I'm Phlinger Phoo. In The Underdogs series, I plan on seeing just how far the Dino's no one ever cares about can actually go. Can Hyena's Take on the Broodmother? Can Calicotherium fight the Overseer? Can you run the caves with just an Iguanodon? I plan on finding out, for the little guys, the dreamers, for the UnderDogs! I look forward to testing out so many things in this challenge!

I remember being terrified of kapros and then i tamed one…no dilo was safe
For a Kapro, Stamina is the most per level, followed by health and weight. Between that and the semi-aquatic nature and its jumps, it seems like a really solid travel mount.
Pulse Pounding Kapro Pouncy Pouncy Action! Yeah Kapros are pretty good early on especially when you’re spending a lot of time in or around the water.
Still loving the Underdogs series Phlinger! Looking forward to the continuation of the base tours series too!
I think they are good enough for most caves, you can actually pick up an Onyc with it if you want to tame it.
It is also usefull if you want to tame an otter or hesperornis, because it will leave the dead Sabertooth salmons when you pick them up with the right click attack
Kapros have a weird sound walking.. like they have suction-capped shoes. Lol
I think i have seen people do the underwater caves with these guys, as i am pretty sure their jump attack can be done underwater.
Was about to ask if you could jump in deep water. If even just as a speed boost.
I've been playing Ark a long time, and this series gave me a new appreciation for The Island map. I used to not like it very much but I've been playing on it a lot more and using ground mounts a lot more in general thanks to watching your videos. I've been having a blast cruising around The Island on a direwolf and sniffing out the explorer notes! Keep up the awesome work, Phlinger! I can't wait to see more of The Underdogs! :D

The Kapro has been on my short list for a tame for a while now.
Great vid, a moment for 180 tek raptor, lol. What's the size of your aggro bubble, it seemed like first shark didn't aggro on your way to herb Island. New term for Ark dictionary if doesn't already exist. Aggro Rage, causing accidental aggro do to a previous battle and seeing something fly, or walk past and ask if it's going to aggro! Lol love it :)
Okay the part where you jettisoned your Kapro straight up the volcano was hilarious and yet remarkably effective! 😂😂😂

Possible mini series suggestion, how to hunt a lead sickness( please forgive the spelling) on a boat. Build a protective shell out of steel, or better for your boat. Use a bat to search an area to find lead sickness using radar, or is it sonar? Send penguin assault team, or whatever Dino you wish. Try using all weapons for underwater, oh underwater mines don't think I ever seen you use one. Balista or the giant bow, hmm might have to things on a sloped roof for angle. Penguin Assualt Team lmao

When your swimming up, can you angle so shoot up higher? It work going up the mountain lol.
I use kapro as my taming buddy. The stamina drain from their melee is amazing versus rex, yuty and many fast dinos

Kapros, slower than Raptors with even less health and weight! The optimal saddle for getting shot off of, but at least they can dismount players if you run around finding a rock to get the right angle! At least that's unique, right? No other dinos can do that...
I find them more op than the raptor. Raptor has a lower damage stat, and is a terrible swimmer.
This guy can act like a mini Karkinos picking up wild dinos for you to easily tranq them...
Can you pick up and tame an otter? And can you jump under water?
