I have crossed into the US under this new vaccine mandate, and when I asked if I had to show proof of my vaccines, the answer was no. Two other of our drivers got the same response. US Customs are not holding up southbound truck drivers.

A friend of mine just turned down a good contract to haul to Alaska from the States, because of the mandate. BC has gotten so out of hand with road taxes and fuel prices it doesn't make sense being a through freighter anymore. I have not gone North in three years for those reasons. Everyone wants their stuff now, but at the same moment they don't allow for truck parking and hate on drivers for being on the road.

I have crossed into the US under this new vaccine mandate, and when I asked if I had to show proof of my vaccines, the answer was no. Two other of our drivers got the same response. US Customs are not holding up southbound truck drivers.
I haven't wore a mask or had any problems on US side since this began

A friend of mine just turned down a good contract to haul to Alaska from the States, because of the mandate. BC has gotten so out of hand with road taxes and fuel prices it doesn't make sense being a through freighter anymore. I have not gone North in three years for those reasons.
