Large crowds gathered in Hamilton and Niagara to support the trucker convoy on the way to Ottawa

- A truck convoy travelling to Ottawa made its way through our area and caused slowdowns on the highway.
While security forces on Parliament Hill say they're preparing for up to 10,000 protesters this weekend, we estimate about 2,000 people were seen when the convoy travelled through Niagara and Hamilton.
The protest began as a push back against vaccination mandates for truck drivers but now appears to have expanded into other areas.
The whole world is watching Canadian truckers! Respect from all over the world!

In Australia members of my Aboriginal family once had to show a paper to say they renounced their Aboriginality so they could work at certain businesses and go to the pub etc. This was in South Australia up to the 70's. You would have more Aboriginal people getting the vaccine if they did not attempt this heavy handed approach.

Thank you for reporting as it is, well the way I see it. I have never before seen how amazing people are. Kind, supportive, everyone coming together. It might not be for all the same reasons, but the majority of people’s heart are in the same place. Peace, unity, freedom to choose

First Nation's people are just as important as any other person in Canada. As equal and as important a voice as anyone else in this country.
The media should be checking fuel prices to see if they are rolling up as the convoy goes through.
These "patriots" are gobbling up fuel for nothing. Harming the environment without a care.
It's called supply and demand. They need to put them up in order to keep people from buying it all up. You think gas stations have endless supplies of gas and diesel? Other people still need to get gas from those cities the truckers are driving through. They're going to get their gas covered by funding, the regular people who live there won't. They're actually screwing over people.
@@goombaboom8096 yeah cause the diesel those trucks run on would keep so many VW golf DTI's on the road. 98% of the passenger vehicles on the road don't even burn the same fuel, and cannot.

As a healthcare worker who was terminated for not taking the vaccine I am overwhelmed with pride and joy to all the effort from the drivers. Thank you for showing us that things are possible here in Canada and that we are not all blind followers. This was never about a vaccine.
Than you shouldn't be in a science field if you don't believe in science. They are hiring at McD's or Wendy's though...but I hear that you need to be vaxxed to work there too...their places of business so they get to call the rules!!
