LMAO good god these are way way over priced in Australia. In Canada I've owned so many 90's Subaru's for $5-$10k. Use to own a type R in iconic WRB for $8k. They are neat cars but in on way are they worth $40k are you kidding me!
PS every Subaru of that era has first gear lockout. You need to be going slower then 5km or so for it to want to go back into first. Don't beat the piss out of it and it will last. These cars aren't indestructible treat them right and they will treat you right.
Dude got ripped off, he should have got a vehicle valuation report. Type R''s are selling for 60k+ on TradeMe.
They said they’re looking to sell for 50, maybe even losing money, so I’m sure there’s a logical reason why you’re apparently seeing them for 60k.
