im so glad i got my type r sti before covid was similar milage but with absolute 0 rust and decent paint with a mint inside
Any sedan with a rear wiper is a winner! Awesome WRX.
Underside painted over the rust and it's 3.5? So lame these auction houses have gotten so corrupt. My r33 gtr with near perfect paint and not even rust oxidation on the underbody was a 3.5 back in 2018.
Yea, sadly, the grading system is sketchy after nowadays
Whoever got this, I hope they strip it down to a shell and fully restore it all. Cars worth some money 💰
V5 and V6 were basically the same cars besides the V6 having a small front lip added and the spoiler being slightly different. (Slightly more angled, hard to explain but they are a little different).
As for the water in the truck. Its very common for the gaskets around the truck and tail lights to go bad and the water to collect in the trunk. There is a rubber plug at the bottom under the spare tire you can pop out to drain the water.
That repair in the back is terrible
Love my v6 type r, only got 56k on the clock, I can sit and look at it as much as I enjoy driving it
Nice I would do a whole bodywork and paint job on this one 💯👍👍👍
BBS rims is the real touch.
The right side door and trunk may need to check for body alignment and will be ok.
Overall need to have a recoat of new paint.
But from the rust corrosion on the left rear side, side of the trunk area and some areas have rust is an issue.
From Instagram, there are owners who brought JDM vehicles, have it checked and stunningly dampen by the severely of the rust corrosion on the cars and have to overhaul and intensive repairs.
Interior is like what Derek recommended, but was surprised the dashboard is good..
Killed it with da gran turismo style intro. 🔥 📛 👨🚒
Damn, if it is so rusty uptop then I dread to think what it might be elsewhere. Not talking based on ass feel here too - my previous '05 hawkeye STI was rustless from uptop but when the new owner started LHD converting it then he found various early rust spots all along the longeron areas. And this car looked clean on the surface.
the gran turismo intro is cool but it's boxer 4 not I4
This is considered as a 3.5?!? 😓
Grade 3.5? LOL Never. I hope the person who bought this didn't pay more than $1000 for it. That extensive rust thats visible means it's guaranteed what you can't see is 10 times worse. Inner and outer wheel arches, trunk area and sills I'd say are like Corn Flakes. That trunk "repair" is just a load of filler painted over LOL. That car needs 10k+ worth of bodywork alone to get it right.
sad to see this special car in such state. Most probably its been parked out and abused for sure !
It's a 3.5 what a joke!!
this is such a poor example, hope the guy who bought it got it seriously cheap
Condition no good
Subarus love to rust.
wtf happened to the trunk? was it submerged in the ocean? lmao
That thing is a pos
