- When a new turbocharged future was confirmed for the Aston Martin DB11, the news should have caused Trump-levels of protests outside the brand’s factory in Gaydon.
Well, that’s what I thought - right up until the moment I got inside the new DB11 and went for a drive.

Closest thing to the Aston IMO is the Maserati GT. Personally think AM has done a great job with the DB11. Stunning car inside and out. Because sometimes, it's not about how fast you can go. It's HOW you go fast. Pass the Martini.

That young guy is the worst reviewer I've lately seen.
I can see how you might think that. But I own both of those cars. I went from a naturally aspirated vantage to the DB 11 V12. And it’s still takes a little getting over the fact that naturally aspirated just sounds incredible. Granted, with the DB 11 you need a change of underwear cuz it’s fast. But I completely understand how the younger reviewer has that perspective because I do too. That being said, I find myself taking the DB 11 out most of the time.

Drop the comedy and just show the car
that looks absolutely epic esp in that colour...
Almost 2 minutes of wasted time on one man's memories. Almost 9 minutes of non-satisfying back and forth. 11:00 minutes of my life I can not get back. I normally love their reviews but this one didn't resonate with me. I still love the car though.
What's the price tag on this thing in Australia??

You gents say nothing else compares to this eh? You must have forgotten the Bentley Continental GT and S63 AMG, last I checked those are both serious competitors

Alborz, thanks for keeping on nagging on the looks and the turbo charged engine. We need more people who use their brain and who question statements like “they needed to that”. Why? Who said so? Everyone builds their own future, we don’t need anybody telling us how that would look like? I adore the new DB11, but personaly would go for an old school V8 Vantage with a stick shift any time. Good for you that you got one. Convertible though for me, please :-)

I don't know why everyone is bitching so much about this review. Yes, it's not the best scripted review and it's doesn't have the quality of a DriverTube/MotorTrend review, but it's not that bad. They still talk about the specs and feel of the DB11, and they even talk about Aston DNA and characteristics. You have to remember too, they're Australian. Barely anyone in Australia cares about supercars.

Likewise to the comments, harsh and not needed Alborz... not cool at all on Tony who is an awesome reviewer. Even then the scripted comedy is as fake as the exhaust tips on many modern day cars..... ! Pick each other up, not bring each other down team !
5:12 duh... Bentley continental gt is a well known competitor and they act like they don’t know. Such a shit review.

The first two minutes were a waste of time.
Somehow they messed it up! Took the DB9 design and quite ruin it! Yeah it is new and better in many ways bit not in term of exterior design. If I have to put my money on Aston it is still the V8 roadster with manual gearbox!

Such a big guy with a such a high-pitched girly voice LOL
Also, the scripted dialogue is delivered in such a fake, unnatural way.
It's like my brain is telling me to DON'T believe anything this guy says.
