Opel Dealers will be delighted to have it. Mokka interior is too small. There is nothing offensively bad about the car and it will find buyers.

Both Opel dealerships in my town (CZ) which existed for almost 30 years are closed now - illustrates how much demand there is for "badge engineered" "german" Cars. Slapping a classic name on a terrible EV will sure change it...
What do you suggest Opel should do then?
@@PtrkHrnk they should get back to quality. Last opel I had was astra g and damn, it had more quality than golf mark 4 that time.

Too bad I find this particular car quite insignificant, but probably a little less depressing than the old Crossland.
Not really a fan of the SUV exterior styling, but I like the interior. Nice fabric seats and physical climate controls are good. Thanks AJ.

I get and admire that this is designed to a price which a majority of motorists need for mass EV take up. The bit that worries me is that it looks seriously underpowered. Also no mention of any 4WD option which I would need where I live.
Frontera? Give me a break...😂 the old ones still alive in my town, hunters use them to get anywhere in the forrest. This is an excuse! The old ones are legendary 4wd vechicles.

I don't think I'd call old Frontera small SUV. Maybe 2-door, but 4-door was almost 5 meters. And it was based on Isuzu MU

I like Opel models and I am driving opels for nearly 20 years.
I am not a fan of this frontera. Interior is nice but do we really need hollow hard plastic door cards? It's cheap feeling and will rattle from new.
Dacia interior quality level.. What a shame for Opel :/
Dacia isn't so poore these days. I think that the Frontera is a great alternative for the Duster. In a techno sense it is ways ahead.
It is in fact designed to compete with the Duster, and the price is honest for what it is.

The Opel, Peugeot and Citroen Stelantis brands get the new models while the Dodge and Chrysler brands get nothing.

The old Frontera was really an Isuzu. The new one is really a Citroën... I don't want more choice, I just want nicer things.

The difference is, VW does not bring LWB version to Europe (as available in Brazil and India, yet no 7-seater as Aircross/Frontera).

A Dacia Duster looks better than this Frontera EV..A german brand made by french..and you get this crappy car. Black logo on black mask..i think they're nuts
I drove Opel Mokka a s renal car, and I was stunned how cheap that car is built. It is literally built only around the looks. Nothing in that car is remotely quality made or even comfortable... It screams cheap together with that tortured three cylinder "turbo" engine under the hood. It's sad to see the Frontera name is being used here in a same way...

Everything depends on the functionality, price, availability of cars and pace of development of the charging infrastructure. If the price is competitive, then maybe we will have an ICE vehicle "killer"...As for the petrolhead trolls' opinions, you can safely throw them in the trash. They don't really know anything about electric cars. If you want an real opinion, talk to the owners of electric cars who have been driving them for years and thousands and thousands of miles and traveled across Europe. If you know how and what to do, electric cars work surprisingly well, especially for daily commutes and weekend trips. Once you really go electric you never go back...!
