    Just purchased a 2024 Honda HRV last week, the interior room is perfectly spacious for my family. I have no issue with it's lack of horsepower, it is still one of the most reliable and has one of the best safety features.

    • @t.soares1125
      @t.soares1125 Před 4 měsíci

      How is it on the highway? I'm considering either the HRV, Corolla Cross, or Crosstrek. We mostly use it for short city trips and errands, several day trips in the summer, and one annual longer road trip (for three passengers including one teen). I'm disappointed in the lack of an armrest or connectivity in the back of the HRV but it's not a deal breaker. Any opinions based on the above?

    • @ErnestoPogi
      @ErnestoPogi Před 4 měsíci +2

      @@t.soares1125 I've been driving it for a while now and I have no issues driving it on a highway, I live in a suburb in illinois and I tried driving it to chicago few days ago, I mean even though it was a 2 hour drive, I did not experience any issues and driving was comfortable since I have a lot of leg room. I'm 5"10 by the way. Right now I don't have any problems with it. I mean I'm ok with it's horsepower compared to other SUVs, but the Safety features and interior space really suits our family of 4.

    I needed a cross over for easier access and exit of this aged body. Not an easy move from a life of "exotic" vehicles. However age and common sense and the need not to have two money draining very low mileage cars on the drive meant a brain choice rather than heart. I chose a VW T-Cross and whatever critics say it is a great vehicle for my current needs with it's 1.5 ltr Turbo and auto box. Yes it is no looker , maybe the 2024 will be, but great to drive , very comfortable and quiet. 🇬🇧

Whoever thought having to look down at the controls while driving should be fired. The amount of effort it takes to do something simple like switching from radio to Bluetooth is unnecessarily convoluted and it doesn't connect my phone to Bluetooth unless it's wired in. i just bought a corolla cross and in power mode it is quick on acceleration up to about 80 km/h then it loses power again the revs go up a lot and makes a lot of noise. its not real power likea car with gears. the belt system really sucks. even an old two litre Toyota can kick the hybrids butt. its. do yourself a favor and stick with the old corollai f you can.

Do I need to repeat that vehicle was in 'D' mode when the computer decided its time to full stop??!. Subaru towed it away 2 weeks ago. If I had been on the freeway, not in turtle mode, it could have killed me! Not sure if I even want it back.

      I bought a CX-30 since I could choose which gear is best to drive in. For an automatic, going up or down one gear at a time saves me a lot of shifting of the transmission when traffic slows down or or on undulating mountain roads and is the best alternative to a manual transmission I could find now. With no CVT, the six speed transmission gives me the opportunity to use only the gear I want to use at the time.

  • @say_no_to_illegal_alien_pigs
