    I really hate that more and more cars drop the brand emblem and replace it with letters. Makes them look more generic and dismisses the tradition that stands behind these logos

    • @ChR0nos_7734
      @ChR0nos_7734 Před měsícem

      blame the chinese and stupid people who need everything written. When they see a emblem of not so known brand they won't buy it. That's why a lot of cars have name written on the back. Even Tesla did it with new Model 3

    • @krane15
      @krane15 Před měsícem +2

      The point with logos is that they're universally recognized and they tell you everything you need to know at a glance. No reading or translation necessary. I'm also not a fan of having the model name stretched across the entire panel like a billboard. I disregard the entire car for those faux pas.
      Its sad when you run out of new ideas, but sometime carmaker just don't know when to leave well enough alone. A square steering wheel is not superior to a round one and it never will be.
      I don't like the embossed name

      I think Stellantis is trying to walk a tightrope of "minimum model overlap", because in both size and function, this looks to sit between the Peugeot 3008 and the 5008. Since the 5008 is a seven-seater, I wouldn't expect this to get a third seating row.

    Das schwarze Dach und das beleuchtete OPEL-Logo sehen cool aus, aber mit dem GRANDLAND-Schriftzug am Heck sieht es für mich so aus, als ob das Werk den schwarzen Schriftzug vergessen hätte, echt weird. Hoffentlich ändern die Ingenieure das noch. Die mechanischen Knöpfe und das Innenmaterial sind dafür umso besser.

    Can somebody tell me why automakers will put their surround view camera at the apex of the front bumper. How is that not a precarious place for a protruding camera? Otherwise, the styling looks nice and I even love the super superform crease along the lower doors.
    @1:38 that's the style Range Rover pioneered. Its is an ingenious design.
    @3:54 those are haptic buttons, not real ones.
    No mention if the rear slide or recline. No remote to lower the seat is a big miss which is unforgivable on a modern car. Anyway, too bad its severely under-powered.

      if you are talking about the combustion vehicles then yes. If we take the new electric versions, the e-3008 and e-5008 as reference, then this falls right in the middle.

    I find it amusing that they are concerned about the sustainability of using chrome on the vehicle which uses tons of rare earth elements in the battery. 😂

      Its like the glowing logo trend: I'd have no issue with them as long as you can go into the infotainment lighting and turn them on/off. People have always been peculiar about their lighting, and I'm one of the most particular.
