Ingredients:
pie crust Ingredients:
3 1/2 cups of flour
1/2 cup of sugar
3 egg yolks [reserve egg whites for meringue]
1 1/2 cup butter
1/2 tsp salt
PIE FILLING INGREDIENTS:
1 can 30oz fruit cocktail
1/2 cup of sugar
5 tbsp custard powder
2 cans 12oz evaporated milk
3 eggs
1tsp vanilla extract

Interesting watch. My mom used to make two separate pies (a peach & a pineapple) for Christmas. She never used eggs in the crust or custard powder & egg whites in the filling. Looks good though.

My all time favorite pie, MY mom use to make it when I was a young gal, it is so good that I never forgot the taste if it and no one makes it like hers.
