Some post battle pointers/things I noticed:
- Your army seems to be 97 points instead of 99. Did you forget to mention an upgrade in your army list summary? That's enough for a unit of three Spandrels + a pair of Gaskins so it's not insignificant.
- Soviet T-72s are pretty out of favour within the TY community because they are considered to be slightly overcosted compared to other Soviet Tanks and particularly the T-72Ms that WP gets. The difference is seriously staggering when you look at them side by side.
- In TY if you are bringing a Tank Formation, pick Attack for sure. Defending without BTR-60 Infantry and their amazing Spigots is pretty hard as Soviets.
- As a more advanced tip, swapping the Frogfoots for Fitters with Missiles would allow you to upgrade your BMP-1s to BMP-2s which has significant bonuses for this list.
I've never seen team yankee but the sheer amount of units interests me greatly
For Soviet forces it’s all about mass and tempo. Soviet units are designed to push forward. I’m on a 9/1 win loss ratio since I became way more aggressive with my Soviet forces.
Another thing that is really important for Soviets or block nations in general are target priority. Sounds silly cause every nation does that but because nato vehicles pack so much punch but are so expensive targeting them while maybe ignoring less potent units will put huge pressure on nato forces. Same with taking out AA. My go to strat regardless of game mode is to target and eliminate as much AA as I can cause then when I bring my Hinds on I can harass the MBTs while my MBTs also focus fire on their tanks. It’s situational but there’s been games where I’ve taken huge losses in the first two turns but then on turn 3 I wipe his AA and then my hinds come in and start spanking their heavier things holding me up. Nato can be more flexible in what stance they take but Soviets need to have a plan and goals to achieve specific small things that’ll compound the rest of the game
Watching IDF riding M113s instead of Eitans and Namers hurts my soul a little, ngl. But those are new vees, so fair is fair. M113 is a bloody coffin though. Good batrep!
Team yankee is set in mid to early 90’s so IDF was rollin in m113’s
My tip for Soviet is attack attack attack if you do alot of tanks like this. If you do alot of bmp and infantery then its better to defend. I also wanna recommend to not stand in the open so much, putting half your vehicle behind a building gives cover as well :)
I know its been a couple of weeks since the posting but the RDF-LT is actually called the High survivability test vehicle-light (HSTV-L). RDF stands for rapid Rapid deployment force which is not the name of any vehicle yet battlefront called it that.
Team Yankee looks awesome. Wish there were more players. As muxh as I love 40k its oversaturated Tabletop gaming. Variety like this and Dropzone commander is awesome.
NATO - Loses mostly a handful of humvees and some m113's and 3 light tanks with assorted infantry.
Soviets - Loses their entire force while their air force tries to decide if they should even join the battle.
Don't know if you ever take suggestions but I would love to see Void Scar miniatures game, From Ashes. It's a 15mm scale post modern game and very under represented.
It would be cool to see smaller/ new company stuff on the channel

I might have used my Israeli aircraft to shoot down those Hinds. I would have had my VADS more central to provide better AA defence to my entire company. But really good batrep with lots of different equipment. I have a TY Israeli army so I really liked this. I also have a Allied force but it is a French AMX-10RC squadron. I just love those little armoured cars.

Unusual tank formations!
You fired your Soviet BMP1 observer at the Hummers rolling one dice. The observer BMP1 doesn't have a 73mm, it only has an MG. It would have given you 3 shots.

Man, when are we gonna see all the damn TY terrain restocked? Out of stock everywhere for the past year now... This is getting ridiculous!
The plandemic doing its designed job, I'm waiting for the T-54 set from Fate of a Nation for my NVA force, I won't hold my breath hoping that is going to be stocked anymore or ever again for that matter.
HINDS :) Where are the Afgansty (elite infantry)?
Good to see some TY game. Minis are painted ok not great and the game was played quite fast. Was fun to watch. Greatest critic from my side would be the ammount of terrain. The table was way to open. I doesn´t need to be clouttered with terrain but terrain has such a huge impact in the game. At least the game is better when you need to maneuver more due to limited Line of Sight.

That is the most unrealistic interpretation of late 80's soviets I have ever seen, if those early game moves happend it would have been devastating.
