- MAN....Alter Bridge turns out to be a banger band. Knowing that the band for Creed made up the band for AB, I never realy listened to them. What a difference a singer can make!! Great solid rock band. Alter Bridge may not be my favorite out there, but they have a great sound and I dig it. I agree on Myles Kennedy, his vocal style perfectly matches the music and is unique

Reacting to Alter Bridge is a can of worms! Now, you'll have people asking you to react to the whole discography!
Alter Bridges first album sounds much like Creed because it was mostly written as they were breaking up and Myles plays no guitar. Once they discovered his playing their sound changed from album 2 and on. In fact, they seem to be getting heavier and heavier as albums go on.
I recommend Cry of Achilles. Myles played the acoustic solo intro and then the first electric solo in the song and then Mark ends the song with his solo. It's fantastic.
I also believe this is one of their meh songs. I love AB and every song but this one is very generic outside of the solos. Many of their other songs are dynamic, have great transitions, amazing riffs and solos and soaring vocals.

Awesome band! Great heavy banger with relevant lyrics from an underrated album! They have many many other better songs 💪
Hell yeah. Miles Kennedy is a great musician and singer. I bought an Alter Bridge album just the other day. His work with The Conspirators and Slash are also great. Creed was/is real good stuff, but they were definitely overplayed. A victim of their own success.
Sometimes I wish Alter Bridge would have come up with better lyrics than... Nickelback.
Lol! Two bands that are not remotely in the same universe musically (or lyrically)! AB is ‘Myles’ ahead in every way - vocally, musicianship, lyrically, song writing, variety, integrity (never selling out!)💪🎸
