It's a beautiful day when a new walkie-talkie drops
Facts
I love to see the bulk-rolling B&W shooters holding it down. Keep it up, Mac!
Wake up babe, new Walkie Talkie just dropped.
A computer nerd, A museum lover & A film head * Coughs “That’s a black King right there”
So happy to see MacAndré featured on here. Grateful to consider him a friend. He’s always so authentic and it speaks through his work. Looking forward to being able to shoot with the NY fam in December❤️
fiddle with your... aperture
love that Mac is getting his flowers!
I really enjoyed this episode! I like finding inspiration in the younger generation. I'll be 60 soon 🎉
What a lovely guy! So thoughtful and creative. Cutting off feet is a real thing for me!
Everytime thrilled to watch a new episode of Walkie-Talkie 🎉
i like his work like alot like
A very interesting environment for photo opportunities. The experience seems very real. I can see why B&W is the preferred choice. Thanks for putting this together! Nicely done!
Love to see another B&W guy 👌
Its the zen of the darkroom, the solitude...the handcrafted silver gel print!
I just got access to a full service printing lab and man do I got respect for people who print bc that shit takes so much. I’ve made 30 prints so far and still don’t have one thats super high quality yet. Mad respect
blessed us today thank you Paulie!!
SHOUTOUT TO ROY DECARAVA!! can't believe someone gave that man his due. wow. a true underrated goat.
Yes!
I think MacAndré would be an excellent teacher. His enthusiasm makes me want to make darkroom prints again.
Anyone else see this missed opportunity for a pretty cool photo 3:21
Another gem! Compelling viewing.
Excellent video like always.
Nice inspiring guy.
Personally I love the white frames around BW images, gives it something vintage and magical.
Thanks for sharing , like always
White frames is the mark of a well devoloped black and white print. Very small amounts of overlap, perfect white frames on film prints mean it was developed by someone who knows their dark room very well.
90% of the time it works 100% of the time.
i love this channel. I started in the 80's with film, have shot tons of film, now I shoot dslr, this channel makes me want to go back to film and go downtown Nashville and just do what you guys do.
Word, another great one! Paulie always with the hits! ❤
Another great episode. Love Macandré’s work!

Met bro not too long ago at the function. kind dude!
at the end he got the banger :)
Your videos are Great. It will be more interesting if you would ask the host photographer to let us know what camera and lens he or she is using. Thank you very much. joe
I would love to see a contact sheet of the film shot on these outings. Thanks for the videos!

Very interesting photographer. Some great shots. I'm curious about his process. He mentions about pushing the Foma 400 one stop (ISO800), but then he also shoots at half a stop overexposed. Does he mean he's using the exposure compensation dial for that half stop? Can anyone clarify this? Awesome video, btw.
He probably uses both push and pull depending on scene. You can go overexposed and underdeveloped (pull] for more shadow detail and less contrast Or underexposed and over development (push) for deeper blacks ,more contrast and faster times.
@@dimaermolenko98 Thanks for that. Much appreciated!
Who exactly is he quoting when he said “it would be a disservice to let someone else document the place that I live” ?

Photography is nothing more than documenting. The art is created in the darkroom.
