Thanks for taking the time to tour Seagull 3 Nick.
Thanks for showing her to us Greg 🙂
Lovely boat!
This might not get the views of the other ones but as someone considering a Rinker 232 Captiva, this proved invaluable so thanks!
Excellent, good luck!
The small boat videos are usually the most useful
"Meet The Owner" series is very good feature. Keep 'em coming, Nick. Oh, and Greg, fine boat. Well looked after and hard to believe its 'mumble' years. Like Nick says, it's always time to go boating - be it sitting dockside relaxing or cruising around. Thanks again to both of you for sharing...
You will be able to sell Greg Smugglers Blues 2, when you upgrade to Smugglers Blues 3....... which I'm sure will be soon with all the interest in this channel 😀
Am a fan of these Meet the Owner vids, brings the idea of getting into boating more of a reality. What a nice honest guy Greg is, love his approach about the fuel consumption. Have a great weekend, boating no-doubt. Take care.
Glad you like them!
As a person seriously considering my first own powerboat (I just have to sell one or two of my other toys, like a mustang convertible and a custom harley) all the how-to and meet the owner videos are very interesting and helpful.
Good stuff. The owner comes across as being a nice chap. Cheers!
He's a lovely fellow, and so is Mrs. Hughes. 🙂
"The bucket of shame" - hiilarious!!. Really great hearing about Gregs boat and his boating history. Very interesting.
48mph = c42kts good pace indeed! I really love and appreciate these owner/operator tours/interviews. It really helps us non boaters to understand, appreciate and enjoy being on the water before taking the financial plunge.
Very kind of Greg, thank you.
finally the Smuggler's blues "wingman" boat. Very nice boat, love budget "reviews" . also Nick, "meet the owner" is a success. cheers
You know what?
Beside the fact, I would like to have boat because of boating, I more and more would like to have a boat, to meet nice people like them occasionally.
The community seems to be very sympathetic, when it comes to not so big yachts.
And Marianne´s laughter at "Nicholas"? Priceless!
Thanks to Greg and of course for the tour...
You know it’s going to be another good video when Greg is around!
In truth, these are probably the more realistic videos of meet the owner.
A great insight of what the majority of us can actually afford when getting into boating for the ‘first time’.
Great down to earth owner.
I’m hooked after watching this.
Keep more of these coming as there definitely a subscriber grabber!🛥
Welcome aboard! 🙂
Top bloke Greg, thanks for the tour!
Thanks for showing us your boat Greg -- very cute boat
Best Meet the Owner yet! Thanks Nick
Our pleasure!
Fun video with your boating friend Greg. Enjoyed seeing his boat as well as meeting him.
Thank you Greg , for introducing your boat to us.
You have kept it well maintained and I have seen it in action in other videos. Great performance.
Looking forward to your next bigger boat.
All the Best.
Stay safe...!!!
Great little boat ,and a bonus you can put her on a trailer 👍 🤠
Thanks Greg and Nickerless, these vids are helpful to us daydreamers. Lovely boat.👍
Ahh, great, thanks for the interview, I really liked the look of Greg's boat in some of the previous videos, nice little toy, the ideal size for a river, perfectly trailerable for the winter
Glad you enjoyed it
Hi ,thank you for the look round Greg ,really glad you make the best use of your boat and have fun .Well another fine video from the Aquaholic front and I see you have a boat in the U S A now ,really setting the pass now and spreading your wings . Thanks again ..
Glad you enjoyed it
Brilliant, Greg's great and Nick, you never fail to ask/answer all the questions I might have.
Glad you enjoyed it!
That was good having seen you cruising with Greg. Thanks 👍🏼
Glad you enjoyed it
She's a lovely boat. Thanks for taking us on board, Nick.
Our pleasure!
“Meet The Owner” videos are a great addition to your channel. 👍👍
Greg seems like a really nice man, you have some nice friends.
What a cracking wee boat. Love these meet the owners vlogs, always interesting to see what got the owners into boating etc.. Great video as usual Nick.. 🚤🚤🚤
Glad you enjoyed it
Again another fan of 'meet the owner ' enjoyed it thanks.
Our pleasure!
The "Meet the owner" section should absolutely be a permanent feature on your channel.
At least one a month.
So all you boat owners watching, start booking up your 'slot'.
In no time at all, you'll have a couple of years worth of 'this section' of your series 😁👍
I like these videos. The biggest reason is that these boats are in a price range I can afford. I love looking at 20 million dollar yachts but they are just a fantasy which will never be realized. 500k or less can be achieved. So keep these coming but don't forget about my fantasy yachts. Thanks Nick!
Brilliant! Brought back memories of my Rinker 236 Captiva (Same colour too) Thanks to both, keep up the series, Trev.
Hi Nick. Loving the meet the owner series. Anyone who enjoys boating and looks after their boat like Greg and you obviously heve fun on the water. Thanks to Greg and a great tour and history.
Thanks 👍
Very well looked after boat. Credit to the owner and thanks for sharing.
This is the type of boat we are hoping to buy next year, great video, thank you!
Awesome, enjoy! :)
Nice size, great management of space, great for day boating.
I love the "Meet The Owners" stuff! Excellent!
It's good to see the smaller boats. More of this please.
Nick,
I loved this video. As an owner of a 27 footer and I feel 100% connected with people having similar boats and doing what I do, going out with friends, swimming in the ocean, sleeping on board occassionally, ...
You are truly developing the boat industry inspiring people and showing that you don’t have to be a billioner to have pleasure on the water.
If you're floating, you're boating!
Ive watched a fair few of your videos nick but this one has just made me realise I can actually get one. This is big enough to have some real fun, small enough to tow if I needed to and all at a price I can afford. Thank you.
Great to hear of the individual stories and enjoy seeing the pride of ownership. Reminds me of our old SeaRay weekender back when I was a kid.
I saw this last night, but saved it for breakfast. Lovely video and boat as usual, you know some superb people. Thanks :)
Glad you enjoyed it
Really enjoying these Meet The Owners! Nice boat and owners too! Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Nice boat! Great, fun video. Thanks for sharing!
Great video.really brings the reality of boating into perspective. Thanks to Greg and Nick
Our pleasure!
Always liked Rinkers with owning the 232 captiva until i started to follow Aquaholics. Now I want a Yacht!
great to see another meet the owner and hear his story and share in his love of boating.
we have seen him many times on your outings.
good to see you all enjoying the boats.
Glad you enjoyed it
Excellent job Nick and Greg
about time Nick you did Greg´s boat. I hope you do get that upgrade boat Sir Greg. cheers
Lovely, enjoyed that. Seems like a great value package with that engine and a trailer too!
I think your "Meet The Owner" vidoes are becoming my favourites!.
It`s great to see their boats and personal touches and also wonderfull to hear all about the owners too!
Keep up the great work! And all the best for the channel! :)
Awesome, thanks! :)
Another great Meet The Owner. I love these more affordable ones too; I could actually get one of these at that price so these types of tours are always appealing.
Glad you like them!
The history of the Rinker family is really cool. These boats are very prominent where I live. They are built less than 100 miles from my house. The 232 captiva has been replaced by the 246 captiva. Nice boat Greg! Looks to be in really nice shape for being 15 years old. Good luck hunting for your next boat.
I found your channel recently and was a great help to binge watch this when I was hungover at work yesterday! :)
Welcome aboard 🙂
Great video nick....top man Greg aswell nice boat I think he will upgrade soon with the sounds of it this boating seems addictive like these videos 👍
It sure is!
To think that I have owned various boats over the last 35 years only found this channel couple of weeks ago, excellent stuff a great place for anyone who loves boats & beginners too
Welcome aboard!
@@AQUAHOLIC You are a true star in the boating world & these videos are superb
Wow, i love the cabin, and the driving position looks extremely comfy 🙏👍
This “Meet The Owner” is a terrific idea 👍
A very good “entry level” cruiser. I could see myself starting out with something like that. Excellent
This is very similar to my SeaRay 240 which I keep on Lake Shasta here in Northern California (the only place where we can be sure to be safe from the fires just now). Ours has the open bow as it is too hot to sleep on a boat without aircon in the Summer. Great tour as always, thank you Nick! If you're ever in California, please come for a tour.
The pattern continues... another really nice guy who owns a boat. Excellent video, many thanks to both of you. Take care and stay safe. 🛥🛳☠🚤⛴🏴☠️🚢⛵⚓😎
Brilliant ! Great to see some entry level stuff on the channel!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great tour, great boat, really surprised that there was a double bed on that. Great watch and a great boat. Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it
Loved this, Really nice boat and owner. Love the meet the owner, more please!!!
More to come!
Really enjoying these Meet the Owners videos
Glad to hear it
my favourite video so far mate ... 😍😍😍
I bought new a Rinker 232 Captiva, “Olmaka” back in 2005 it was a great day boat with outstanding performance and versatility, it was a great sea boat that would handle any of the unprecedented conditions the Pembrokeshire coast used thrown at it. I kept the boat for a couple of years but the fuel usage was not a reason to part with it ! 🤥😂
Great review it brought back some special memories 😍
I do enjoy the Meet the Owner reviews 👍
Thanks for sharing!
Nice practical boat, nice friend you got there Nick... best regards from your Portuguese loyal follower !
Perfect illustration of "Reasonably priced boating" .
Totally agree with Greg about fuel consumption, it's a matter of perception. :)
Grew up with a 1990 206 captiva. Very nice brings back the memories 👍
Awesome thanks for doing that
No problem
Love these segments! If ever you’re in Conwy Nick and fancy doing a meet the owner on a Jeanneau Prestige 32, you’re welcome!
Well Nick it sounds like if you upgrade to Smugglers Blues III, then you might already have a buyer lined up to buy yours 😉
Great job, as always nick! Love this series
Great and interesting interview Nick. Nice boat to have fun on too
Glad you enjoyed it
What a great guy! Love his answer about fuel consumption 😂
thank you Greg much appreciation
Thanks Nick, I really need a trailer boat so this is great inspiration.
Great video nick. Obviously the super yachts etc are incredibly interesting, but I love these 'down to earth' boating videos. Especially this meet the owner series, it makes boating seem so much more accessible than I ever realised 👍🎯
That's exactly the purpose of them, so I'm glad you enjoyed it :)
I love the way you make videos 😍😍
Thank you!!
Glad to finally see it, Nick!
Also, Nick, you should consider setting up a meet the owner Playlist on your channel!
These are great Nick it’s always interesting to see and hear owners chat about their boat well done as always thanks for sharing this 👍🇨🇦
Glad you enjoyed it
Well done . A very fitting video into your arsenal of videos . 👍👍
Thanks 👍
Thank you Nick, love this series!
Nice chap.... nice boat. I looked at Rinker when searching for a similar use boat. At around the same money or less, we picked up a Falcon 23SPC.... I certainly wouldn’t suggest it’s a step up.... more sideways...
Mine was a V6 Volvo Penta petrol 205hp - with a duo-prop on a Volvo leg.
Excellent swim platform with a transom door and shower. Double under the cockpit floor and double dinette... most importantly, a wet head/shower....
The social space is smaller than your current, but still fairly generous for a 23 foot boat. Clean we could nudge 34 knots and good seakeeping.... they came with a smaller 4 cylinder, larger V8 such as yours or a lot get diesel transplant.
Another option is the rarer Falcon 27, with twins....🙂🇬🇧
looking forward to Gregs interview next year on his new boat
Great for daytime with the kids. Looks like it would be great fun.
Absolutely loved this one
Very cool little video - Thank you Greg (and Sally).
I hope the "bucket of shame" is one of those little portable units you can move around and not "actually" a plastic 5 gallon with a lid - haha... but I'm not asking. 🤣 Then again I always seem to see that red boat tied along side of this really nice guy with a bigger vessel so perhaps he just goes knocking - LoLoL... (I recall fishing with my grandfather in nothing more than a rowboat with a tiny little outboard when I was a really little guy and him holding me by the back of my britches so I wouldn't fall overboard and just letting it go - but way less easy for the gals, hAhAhA.)
My next, since I've been without for years now - will hopefully be 18 - 20-ish feet, trailer-able and just an open bow for the day boat.
As cool a video as any of the others thanks to your style. It's true that size has zero to with whether you're boating - since you are if it's floating. 👍👍
Thanks Again.
YES! Size doesn't matter. Because if you are floating you are boating. :D
Lovely boat to have fun with. I like it. :)
Not a bad little tender or day boat, no WC tut tut not roughing it! Not a patch on Smugglers Blues 2. Thanks Nick
Nice boat Greg, hello from Florida!
Nice little boat Greg, good vid Nick👍
Glad you enjoyed it
Wow I’m diggin this “Meet the Owner” series, gives u a great perspective on your avg boater out there
Love these interviews Nick, I bought a Bayliner Capri 21ft v8 bowrider with a friend for 3k the previous owner another Dentist friend had it from new and looked after it like a baby, it had been on Windermere and he got shut when the speed limit reduced, I went out in it once in Abersoch, the sea was very rough, scared me to death with my young son and boating partner onboard that was the end of that ! But this series of interviews has really got me thinking again, and the South Coast and ability to sleep on board for at least a few nights seems very appealing, great work thanks for the video.
Great interview i think the more affordable boats are great $20-30K range keep them coming recently just ventured into cruiser boating in WA watch loads of your reviews and tips thanks for sharing
Great vid series... Interesting how why where and what owners use their boats for. Keep them coming Nick.
Thanks, will do!
Great to see affordable boats on the channel.. Nice to see the owners and their stories.. Love the channel. Hope you keep this up as well as the lotto boats we dream off...
More to come!
Love the smaller boat reviews, as its something that I am looking for 👍
