- In this video, we set off to film a deer hunt for Gaven’s younger brother, Ethan, and his cousin, Wyatt, who was paralyzed from the waist down a few years ago.This meant that the hunt itself was going to be a great challenge. It’s hard enough finding a good mature mule deer, but we knew we had our work cut out for us to get Wyatt in position for a shot.
We found a good buck early in the day, and decided it was best to get Ethan on him based on where he was located. After a good stalk, we got in position and Ethan made a perfect shot to take his first mule deer.
Just after that, we still had daylight left so we decided to look for a buck for Wyatt. Just before sunset, we located a herd with a decent buck. Wyatt got comfortable and took him with a great shot.
You can’t ask for a hunt to go any better than this one did. It was a great experience hunting with Wyatt and we look forward to hunting with him more in the future. We hope you enjoy the video! - Sport
