hello man you know that this mision have an alternate ending? is super badass, you have to bodyblock jonathan when he go to open de hangar doors and special dialogue start, johana says: not, let me do this and save you, or something... i cant remember as well, and them you catch the hover bike and unlock a new playable area to escape with the bike, is really to badass, sorry my english man, greetings from Spain

oh one more curisosity, i cant remeber exactly but if you escape with elvis, its suppossed that jonathan cant escape by himself and i think you never see it anymore, but if you do the alternate escape and save his life, in the mision defending the instititue you will find him upstairs defending the safe, with dual revolvers an a insane amount of life, I have looked for this on youtube, but I have not found anything so I suppose that very very few people know it, in the time that I played it as a child we used to change cartridges and none of my friends knew this

Yeah, that took us a while to find out why sometimes he was on Carringon Institute and other times he wasn't. It's a nice tiny detail.

So sad Jonathan will die if he's the one who stays behind and not Joanna. Guess it goes to show that he's nowhere near as deadly as Joanna, despite apparently being the best before Joanna came along
Is there a way to decide who will stay behind? I don't remember how it happened, but when I played, Jonathan left with Elvis and I escaped through the door which leads to the antennae in Area 51: Infiltration.
José Julián Aguirre Pinzón if around 7:05 you walk up to Jonathan as he runs off, Jo will tell him to go with Elvis and you have to open the doors and leave via the bike
??? Everyone survives. Either Johanna and Elvis leave on the UFO, and Jonathan flies off on the hover bike, or Jonathan and Elvis take off in the UFO while Johanna leaves on the hover bike
@@Gameprojordan nah if Jonathan is left behind its assumed he's killed off at the end of the level. The final cutscene shows a guard looking at the UFO leaving at the end and Jonathan does not appear in the Carrington Institute Defence level. If Jonathan left with Elvis, he will be found stationed outside Carrington's office in the Defence level.
This is the hardest mission in the game in my opinion.
That must be because of the endless number of guards.

Yah he is worse, at least with Natalya you could run ahead to the end of the level and win if she is still alive. The level you really had to protect her in was Control.

Even nowadays it's considered a novelty feature for a gun to work ambidextrously. The odds of finding a gun built specifically for left-handed users only is also extremely rare, usually they're custom built and on the civilian market.

Maybe using nerve gas as your base defense system wasn't the greatest idea when it's known to kill everyone in the proximity indiscriminately.
Never let Jonathan open the hanger doors... If you do, he will not be present in the institute defense mission because he never escaped area 51

Ooooh I can't STAND this mission. It's bad enough that it's a escort mission x3 but Jonathan is a suicidal jerkwad who constantly throws himself RIGHT IN THE FACE of machine gun armed soldiers shooting at him fighting back with the pew pew pistol from Harlem Nights.
Oh and when you shoot at the guys you'll probably inadvertently kill him a few times and have to start over. Good times.
I hate those drug guns. This is one of the hardest mission on perfect dark.

Skip the cinematic and rush to complete the first objective. If you arrive there before 35 seconds they should appear.

Man the super dragon is just badass. It, the laptop-gun, and the phoniex are my three favorite weapons in the game. The farsight's pretty cool too though. Do you have a weapon of choice for this game?
The K7 Avenger has always been one of my favorites because its sound and design. The Laptop Gun is great too, and for pistols I love the Magsec 4.
