  • It is not easy for a beginner to glue a new rubber with a blade together. Also it is not easy to maintain rubber surface in daily use. Today in our Table tennis college of SANWEI, we show you how to do all of these. Enjoy.

From the shape of that black rubber I assume it had been well boosted first.

    Hello,
I have an issue where the red rubber is coming away from the yellow sponge.
would taking the red up and applying glue to the yellow work?
or would I need to buy a whole new red rubber and yellow sponge?
any help would be much appreciated

Hi i have a question, what to do if after i took off an old rubber (was on the blade for 5 years) from the blade, and there are still some glue on the blade that is so thin and hard, how can i remove it, couldnt do it with my fingers

Well, if your rubber was glued with organic glue or water glue, then it won't be too hard to remove it by just rubbing it with your fingers. If the glue layer is not coming off, you can try using an alcohol wipe. Honestly, after 5 yrs, the glue could have defused into the wood layer. Consider buying a new blade as an option. Good luck!

Owh so what happens if it diffusses into the blade? Any side effects? Is still good if i want to put a new rubber on the blade if that happens?

Hello, thank you for the video. I bought a cheap paddle and a 10$ rubber. Can I just glue it with regular white glue (used for general home or art purposes) ?
I don't want to invest more in glue than in the paddle lol
