Thank you for the terrific workout Cindy. Very helpful to me as a Senior. If I may make a safety suggestion I would not sit in a chair with wheels to work out even if they are locked or on carpet. A good friend of mine went to sit on a chair she thought was perfectly safe and it slid out from underneath her. She took a serious fall which led to worsening health problems. Again thank you for a great workout.

Cindy - I just came across this video and another from you and can't tell you how happy I am. Like you said in this video, not everyone likes getting down on a mat to exercise and that sure is me. So THANK YOU SOO MUCH! Absolutely love doing these exercises as well as from your other core video. Started last Sunday and have been doing them every day since then and plan to continue...also just downloaded the 'food tips'. Am 58 btw and have been carrying a huge comfort belly for eons...Decided last week that its time to FINALLY let go of it;-) Certain that your videos will most definitely help. Thanks much once again.

Cindy, I came across this video about 3 months ago. I have suffered from severe plantar fasciitis for over a year now and am not a "senior" yet. My injury has prevented me from doing regular standing/mat abdominal and core exercises, because I tore my PF ligament. Any pressure or movement of that foot that would stretch or flex that foot in any fashion had been very painful, to the point that I stopped trying to exercise altogether (which was a mistake in hindsight). Nevertheless, this video helped me get back into abdominal/core exercise at a pace my body could handle, and it did not aggravate my injured foot. Now my foot is finally on the mend, but it will be many, many months before I can return to standing exercises. I've been able to progress and repeat your workout back to back two or three times a week and feel my abs, core, and pelvic floor so much stronger than they were 3 months ago. Thank you so much!

This is just what I was looking for!
Hi Cindy, I want to explain to you what my physical struggles are, so you know why I struggle with chronic pain everyday, (moderate scoliosis, spinal stenosis, neuropathy in both my legs, psoriatic arthritis) my legs and back were getting very weak, so I bought a recumbant bike and I am amazed how much stronger my back and legs are getting, but, I needed to exercise my waist and abs, so I have been doing your exercises sitting down, and they are helping too. I wanted to know if you think these exercises are ok for me, or do you know of more exercises that would help, or hinder my problems.
Good for you Mary choosing to take action despite your challenges. Some moves could be detrimental but that would be a discussion to be had with your doctor or physical therapist. They would know better how advanced your condition is and be more qualified to instruct you as to what is safe. Also, listen to your body and do not do any exercises that cause pain. Keep me posted of your progress.

When I try and play this on CZcams it will not load. The circle just spins. If I play it from your web page it play ok.
Not sure why that is happening. I just tried int and it did spin for about 3 secs and then started. Let me know if it is still happening and then I can talk with my tech person on Monday to get suggestions. Thanks for letting me know.

I hate to give you a thumbs down but twisting is not recommended by physical therapist for your spine.
Thank you for your feedback. Not every exercise is suitable for everyone. When I see a burpee, I just cringe and I skip it cause know its not for this body. Yes, always follow the recommendations of your doctor to stay safe. Only do what works for you. Stay well.
