Spelling Mistake at 2.11 and 2.48. I dont know how i missed this. Thanks for watching!
Yo! Just a little thing I know, if you use the colon, you can do this. 2:11 & 2:48
Well. I missed them too....😊
I own both, and I think they're different enough to warrant a purchase of each. I find Ready or Not to be...more exhausting? The AI can be absurdly hard on occasion, and the game modes can be so frantic that it's not a game I sit back and play for 3-4 hours. With Ground Branch I can play a terrorist hunt and "almost" relax, or at least play slow and tactical. I feel like Ready or Not is more original Rainbow Six, and Ground Branch is more Ghost Recon.
The maps in Ground Branch are much larger, more varied, etc. Ready or Not maps (official) tend to be much small CQB actions.
I play Ground Branch far more often, but I think it needs a ton of work and it's development has been...exceptionally slow. For a new gamer if you want the "new hotness", I think Ready or Not is more active, probably more community support, etc. If Ground Branch does end up with a vast AI enhancement (amongst other things) it'll be superb.
Yeah I agree with you! Definitely get both if you can afford it! Thanks for watching
how about Insurgency sandstorm?
@@PantaiTimurStudio I think Sandstorm is much weaker than RON and GB, this is on the combat level, RON and GB's operation makes you more like a professionally trained operator, while Sandstorm is not. I hate the slow reload of Sandstorm. Sandstorm is much faster, especially in multiplayer! RON and GB fight at a slower pace, allowing you to enjoy CQB. Of course, the picture quality of Sandstorm is very good, and there are many built-in mods for you to choose. Like RON and GB, you can customize your gear. If you currently have more spare money, you can try them all, they are all good choices.
I’m the exact opposite I can play ready or not all day with the right people but ground branch is exhausting because the maps are bigger
Sandstorm is like cod. Shitty.
Can't we all just get along?!!?
Never!
ill die on my hill
Ready or Not is for police and Ground Branch is for CIA.
I just enjoy both
@@codyzichler5072 same dude
ground branch adding mod support is insane
For me the AI in ground branch at this state is a no go
Yeah, that's very fair. I can't wait for an update 😀
I think in the future this will change, hopefully. My biggest complaint about ground branch is lack of vest tbh (There's so much better ones on the market place), gun play (sound, jus sounds not as good as tarkov or ready or not), and ai (ai's are literal bots, they just don't have a mind of their own)
@@robert558RoN guns sounds are boring af tbh
For me it's ready or nots complete lack of Pvp. Killing bots is fucking lame. Until AI becomes more natural, i stay away from killing NPCs. Ground Branch deserves a bigger player base
@@mbrooksay🤓🤓
Once the AI is improved in Ground Branch, that game will be the top tier tactical shooter out there. Everything else about it is already mostly there. The gun handling in that game is one of the most realistic you could find.
Agree!
There is no AI in these games my man... theyre BOTS
@@hzt7469 AI and bots in video games are essentially the same. Any programs that have an automated decision making process can be regarded as an AI, which included almost all bots in any modern games. Hell, even ghosts in pacman can be defined as AI.
I prefer Ready or Not, because of the police setting and because the game feels more alive. You have small objective calls when you arrive on the map, your teammates making callouts, civilians and music, while Ground Branch feels very sterile.
I want ground branch to get a rework SO BADLY!
(td;dr the AI needs to be smarter, like flanking, ect. The movement needs a small change, like a way to walk slowly so you can be accurate, and some more PVE modes.)
It is so damn good and fun, but the AI (and 1 issue I have with the movement) need work
GB needs the Zero Hour/ Ready or Not treatment. AI that was dumb and hopeless, into scary and competent enemy. Not aim botty. or running backwards with their pants down.
I really want to see hostage rescue in GB, I just love the idea of breaching a room and seeing a Terroist holding the hostage at gun point, and you have to make a quick call.
also, when I say movement, what I mean is in the game, for some reason you have two running options, but no option to walk slower. That is to me what RoN does really well, cause moving fast makes your gun unsteady. which is true in ground branch, however if you stay still so will your gun. Which is VARY similar to old Ghost Recon.
HOWEVER, Ghost recon is just that, Old. The enemy didn't strafe, run around, or do all that much, when they shot their gun they stopped moving too. But in Ground branch they can strafe pretty accurately, and you have to either stop moving, or try to move and correct as you shoot, or spray back hoping you hit them. Oh, And there NEEDS to be a prone stand, it is really annoying only being able to crouch or stand in such a open games, Proning is vary essential
And vary brief, but there needs to be more modes for PVE, like planting or disarming bombs and hostage rescue, but that ties back into better AI for it to be fun.
However, having only three issues with this game, when most AAA games have a TON is really impressive and these can be fixed without breaking the vision of the game!
I think there are mods for ground branch that gives bomb planting as well as hostage rescue mode
man oh man, THANK you for such a thorough and just all around well done comparison video!!! Personally I do not have either game, but love this genre of shooters. So THANK YOU AGAIN for taking the time to make such a comprehensive comparison!!! cheers!
Glad I could help!
as of the 1033 update, I still believe Ground Branch has a lot of potential. The AI still definitely need a lot of work when it comes to decision making, and maybe implementing the use of grenades or suppressing fires.
And there certainly needs to be a bigger focus on creating game modes that foster objective based missions that will bring a bit better pace to a mission and challenge players to think and problem solve outside of sweep-and-clear.
But that said, the weapon handling and mechanics are better than any other shooter out there. Even Arma doesnt come close with how organic and responsive the weapon systems are. As a shooter, it very much feels like the game was developed by other shooters.
Eb try out the recoil coeficient animation mod for arma,u Will love it
@@TheKoog977 oh man, you're talking to a guy who's ARMA folder was 300GB. I moved on from that nonsense, was too much like having an abusive girlfriend. Too much work, not a lot of satisfying results.
I own and enjoy both, but prefer Ground Branch.
I own both and play both. Ron is way more fun even with the AI sometimes being invincible Terminator. Ground branch on the other hand has super dumb AI doesn't provide any challenge and doesn't give any sense of accomplishment after completing the mission. In terms of weapon gunsmith Ground Branch is so fun to mess around but that fun hardly last long.
Maps feel boring in ground branch.
At the end of the day both games are set in different environment one is SWAT and other is Special forces
I own both of them and, for me, Ready or Not is the one.
Ground Branch could become huge but at this time, it needs more work.
The main thing for me is that, I like to play solo (yes, im kind of a lonely guy... 😂) and, with RoN, you have AI Teammates.
Yes, they are not perfects, they can freeze in front of an enemy and be dumb, but in general, they covers you and make you feel like you are in a Swat team.
You can give them orders to restrain a suspect or to blow a door. It's very cool.
In Ground Branch, if you want to play solo, you are alone and it feels... empty.
Haha I literally just finished a mission on ground branch bc I just discovered it and I was thinking hmm what’s better and literally just now opened up yt and this was the first thing I saw without searching for it. Legend
love how mutch have changed in 7 months. thx for the video !!!
Im glad you mentioned that while ground branch doesn’t have some features, they are working on it and it will come. Lots of people, while i understand its for the current state of the game, just focus on whats available and not whats coming. But when you talk about whats coming, people arw most likely to keep an eye on it at least.
Bro wiring from the stun gun got caught on the chair... Thats cool.
3:23 That's a neat feature. When it comes to outfitting a character in a shooter, I'm usually like man, just give me more ammo.
I think one aspect worth noting in regards to the graphics argument besides the fact that the lighting, textures, etc. being great in both is that Ready or Not has a more interesting level design and I mean that from a point of view beyond gameplay or style. What Ready or Not followed through very well from SWAT 4 is the in-game storytelling that adds another dimension to the already well-polished and good looking levels and while not too focused on, it does some great world building for the in-game universe to the point where I'm excited for new maps more than just to play them, but also to see what other stories they want to tell within them. Either way, good video and I think at the end of the day it'd be a better investment to get both games than paying for another broken AAA game nowadays lol.
So true! Thank you
We need a RON gameplay with GB gun and kit customization.
That would be awesome!
And Siege sound mapping
I honestly feel like GB and RoN can collaborate and only use the theme as a differentiator
Think single-player, AI, and multiplayer experience to help choose from these types of simulator games. With experience doing speed drills alongside weapon malfunctions, tired arms, and various reloads depending on the situation the high ready under the armpit is essential.
The only reason why I like Ready Or Not or ARMA etc is the solo PVE experience just not into PVP as the older ya get the less time you have for games. I also just like the more realistic Milism which is slower paced and I can save and play later as have no time to keep repswaning hours on end, playing PVP games or like all the run and gun types like BF, COD or RB6 Siege SGO etc.
Even Wildands with the 1st person mode is a great tactical/mildim lite shooter. with the mod is like a whole new game. Cant' wait for a 1st person mod for Breakpoint as well. I do play coop with my some former active and current reserve buddy's. Wish Ground Branch had an AI team but its coming so guess only thing can do is wait. Just glad there are still devs out there who don't jump on the PVP only, battle royal, MMO bore-fests like warzone, CSGO or the VACinator game 🤣or PubeG etc.
As I get older and slower. I stay away from pvp too... No one wants to get their ass handed to them by a squeeker.
Fast relexes matter in PVP
Owning both and six days in Fallujah and squad>>> they’re all great honestly. Ground Branch has better gunplay and more potential than ready or not; but ready or not is more ready at present.
Another banger of a video 💯
Thanks Mate!
Get both. Both are worth buying and they're different enough to scratch a different itch with each.
great video , very detailed
Thank you!
I bought both and I don't regret it.... 😊
i have them both and also zero hour. they are all good
great video!
Thank you! I appreciate it!
So did they already update the team AI in ready or not? Or is it still the same?
great, now I want both
GB looks so cool… the customization is exactly what I want. RoN seems to be more popular tho
great video!! deff helped make my choice!!
Thank you, Glad i could help!
And what was the choice you made?
@@IamDomo ready or not
How is the difference now in 2024?
Well....... I like Ground Branch more......I think Ground Branch is like the remaster of the GR , and the game design group is from old GR. I love old GR, but the Ground Branch really need friendly AI like old GR and can command them tactically like old GR. Really hope the design group can add this things !!
i honestly just want an update to vegas 2's th mode, so ground branch seems like the better option for me.
This video is really well made keep it up excited to see you get more popular 👍
Thank you I really appreciate that!
FYI, in early builds and tests, Ready or Not showcased only a PVP-mode to lukewarm reception. They have since refocused their efforts on the CO-OP aspect but have been very clear that the PVP will come back.
I think customization and scale of map I prefer GB but it really needs an ai overhaul if it wants to compete with RON
Should we not buy the one thats not in early access, but actually finished? Good vid though thanks
Two very solid games
Agree!
I have both but find myself playing Squad more than both
Ready or Not has confirmed pvp to come post-release. 🎉
Nice vid m8
Thank you!
I wish I had a PC they both look so good
Just keep saving. You will never look back
The AI in Ready or Not has come a very long way
Without a sqaud of mates Ready or Not is not worth playing for me personally. But with 3 friend, even with 1 friend, this game is really a lot of fun! I will try ground branch as well.
Im debating on which one to buy, im coming from insurgency. Which one would be better at the moment?
Ready or Not, has a lot more content for sure. I would probably choose that, value for money
@SwishActual that's what I was leaning toward thanks!
I like ready or not because you don't have to clear a big map. Everything is close quarters you don't need to scan a large area.
Im gonna buy ground branch because i had buy ready or not..both of game i really like it..tactical shooting
I can't chose which to buy I'm just gonna get both ;/
I wish the ai in GB gets more dynamic and tactical.
Same here! I am sure it will in the future
Then we wait for the FULL version of the game! Or advice you the early acces on Steam?
Nice comparison bro, what's your personal favourite then?
It's hard man, they are both super unique. The best option is to just own both lol
@@SwishActual 💯
Which Ready or not mods are you using?
Im not sure, i dont think i was using any, apart from maybe gun fighter mod
this was a useful video thanks sadly i still cant decide... i may just have to buy both lol i mean what i really want is Swat 5 xD
perfect vid
Thanks mate!
I could not decide so I got both (but I like ground branch better though)
Hahaha good choice!
I hope in the future there will be a decent development team to make a full-fledged tactical shooter, to combine all the necessary mechanics into one, and not that we now have many different shooters with different restrictions.
1) Payday - Rob bank
2) Rainbow 6 Siege - from here you can take the opportunity to break the wall, glue bombs, control the drone, lie down on the floor, put up a shield, etc. climb the roof with a rope and break through the window.
3) Ready or Not - hostage release
4) Ground Branch - realistic shooting, running and graphics.
In order to play a normal online shooter, I'm not going to buy 4 games that fulfill the same goal, but with different capabilities. Better wait for a full one tactical shooter.
Ground Branch needs to work out the modes and needs to change the spawns in a lot of those map , they always favor the defenders . Also the game is soo fun that I don't think that I'd need another tactical shooter
I wish we could use sub machine guns for secondary
Both sounded great so I'm gonna get the one that costs less now and the other in the future at somepoint
You won't be disapointed with either one! Have fun!
@@SwishActual thanks
1.0 ready or not is coming, take a loock
Do you know when Ground Branch usually goes on sale? Had my eye on this game for years. Haven’t really caught it on a sale ever.
Hey it was on sale about 2 weeks ago. Keep an eye on it every 4 months or so it seems to go on sale
@@SwishActual how much was it and how big was the discount %
@@sophicEnt. It was 30% off
it will deff be on sale for summer sale starts mid june
@@brookscookiepremium when is summer sale
If the AI ever gets fixed in Ground Branch I think it would be worth it and Id buy. Plus maybe something like old school ghost recon story. For ready or not same thing especially because I play those games alone.
One was finished in 5 years. The other began development in 2010 and is in early access 14 years later with almost zero progress. There.
I own both. They both are great and have eir strength and weaknesses. Hey should combine forces.
Ground Branch AI is like playing Rouge Spear back in 2001 hence the motto "rebirth of tactical realism" from the early 2000s. Basic movement compensated by god-like aim. Ready or Not is not that different, just with added bells and whistles to fit the SWAT genre.
I enjoy both.... Currently there is 1034 open player test of ground branch.... full with bugs😢hope they will fix it soon
Bravo
Why not play both?
Both great games. I own and play both. But i prefer ready or not.
Nice!
If the AI ever gets fixed in Ground Branch I think it would he worth it. Plus maybe something like old school ghost recon story.
Is it possible to remove the ai ally from your team when you are playing solo ? And if yes how ?
I beleive there is a mod on nexus that removes the AI
@@SwishActual thanks a lot, great video
@@Tintin-qq3no Thank you!
it's like zero hour doesn't exist anymore
I have both.
Nice one!
if ready or not added way more customizable and actual pvp then it would wipe out ground branch… but i do like ground branch alot
ground branch on black friday sale on steam rn
Okay, but which one is better for solo play ?
Ready or not imo
👍
In ground branch can u change the character view in 3erd person view?
Hey! Yeah third person is available
@@SwishActual but it's only available in single player debug mode.. How is it available in multiple player online ? What buttons do u press ?
@@mjbaby111 single player debug mode is the only way
Customization: Ground Branch
AI Opponents: Ready Or Not
Ground Branch dev are making the game on their free time
ground branch has style
The answer is getting both
Groundbranch's gunplay and customization is superb. Very few game can rival that.
However, I think the biggest drawback in its current state is that it feels very "basic" in terms of its other feature offerings. This combined with a much slower development pace makes it hard to get into for some players imo. For example, I really dislike playing lonewolf in tactical shooter, but if I were to play Groundbranch solo, I have no choice but to play lonewolf. The lack of enemy AI behaviour also ended up making each run feels somewhat same-ish. Now, that's not to say Groundbranch is bad though. I just think it needs a lot more time in the oven. Currently it feels like it has a really really strong skeleton but not quite enough meat on it yet.
RoN to me feels a lot more like a complete package in terms of content offering. While a lot of it is WIP and can be really rough (as seen with AI SWAT members for example), it does check more boxes for feature inclusion. Also, the environmental story telling and details/atmosphere is on a whole other level. You can spend hours in a map looking for details that link each of the maps together, and it gives you enough information to come up with a crude understanding of the campaign story Void might be working on. Small details like a ringing phone dropped on the floor at the scene of an active shooting site adds a lot of immersion. This I find very impressive and really made the world feels a lot more lived in.
RoN's friendly AI definitely needs work compared even to SWAT4, but there are workarounds. For example, you can send one team to watch your back, which is highly useful since the enemy AI enjoys circling around for rear attacks. And, since their room clearing sucks, I also usually use a shield, enter a room first, take enemy fire and let my AI teammates do the shooting.
what kind of watch is the ground branch operator using irl
I Don't know sorry mate
Garmin Instinct
ive had ready or not for a few months and ground branch is installing rn
Thats awesome i hope you enjoy it!
@@SwishActual played it today and its really cool, its %100 worth the money and imo better than ready or not cause ready or not just gets a bit boring after an hour or two but this game i could play all day long

Nice one! Hope you like it
actually now the battle is ready or not vs ground branch vs operator
I think operator still needs a lot of work, but is showing some promising things
What about Zero Hour? Is really good too.
Yes it is
Both dominate Call of Duty and Battlefield and like every other fps game out there on the market
ok but which game is not dead?
