For the next “Ask Bruce Anything,” I’d love to know the story of Cody calling for him at the end of Wrestlemania : was it planned or did Cody make the call on the fly - what’d Bruce think of getting some public attention when it seems like he prefers to stay behind the scenes - etc.
The mistake was that they rushed the invasion angle. Should have started it around Rumble/No Way Out 2002, when Hogan, Nash, and Hall all debuted. Flair also returned around that time.
But I understand they were kind of forced after the hhh injury. I still think they could have tried to have Austin be the top heel for most of 2001 until the real WCW guys started coming in.

I have another question for a future “Ask Bruce Anything” episode : why didn’t TNAs ODB ever find her way to WWE, and do you think we’ll ever see her as a one-off in the women’s Rumble match? I always thought she really stood out in their Knockouts division.
