The difference between SCSA being able to use his name in Hollywood from The Rock is that SCSA even without WWE's licensing of the Stone Cold part of the name was still able to use the Steve Austin part of the name. And being called Steve Austin was good enough to know who they're talking about. The Rock hadn't yet established the name Dwayne Johnson yet.

What's the point in Bruce saying Meltzer misreported the JBL situation or reported it without full context, if he's not going to provide full context either? I also don't get why Bruce randomly buries people for no good reason in some of these shows, like that writer Paul Guay here. It feels unnecessarily meanspirited. I enjoyed the show more when Conrad would challenge Bruce more when he does this kind of thing.

I kinda liked the Warrior when he first came out until Wrestlemania 6 and he won the belt. But I attribute it mostly to his kickass theme music and his cocaine-fueled insane promos. But after he won the championship everything went downhill for him and my appreciation of him...WWE didn't need a DVD to bury him, he did it himself in the 2000s when he became a raving lunatic scuzzbag right-wing ****ball with his hardcore anti-gay speeches, for which I blame his trashbag wife for unleashing and enabling that side of him...

The WWF Fans wanted Hulkamania, Razor & Diesel. Not Hollywood and The Outsiders. Because the latter were WCW, and at that point they'd been played out. But make no mistake, had Rock-Hogan happened in, say, 1995ish, Hogan would've been booed out of the Skydome. The Red & Yellow revival happened because the WWF fans hadn't seen it in forever. It was fresh again. But Bruce trying to downplay the nWo is silly. They kicked your ass, man. You came back and put 'em out of business. Get over it.

I was never a great fan of JBL, neither as a character nor as a person. But I do agree the reaction to his goose stepping was totally blown out of proportion. He 'got' that he made a bad judgement and learned from it. Isn't that what we want?
