Kansas City Auto Electric here, Yup, another good one. This time you beat me to the reinstall. I pulled my bumper last fall as it had some nasty pitting on the top surface and of course, started to rust. I found one in Florida and it looked good in the pictures until I paid outrageous shipping to get it here in KCMO. It's okay but that is about it. It looked much better in the photos. My first question is where did you find a bumper. I have been looking all over the place and any of them I find are in the same shape but typically worse. My second question is where did you find the bolt clips/fasteners and what size are they. You gave me a good hard laugh when you thought you were going to soak them first in the liquid wrench. Yep, did that and kept resoaking for about two months. Nope, defiantly did not work. I could have dipped that bumper in Texas and it would not make a difference. I was only able to save about 4 of the 10 bolts that holds the chrome to the bumper sub-bumper/frame/core so I need to find the size of the bolt and mate it with the proper fastener. Any information on this would be appreciated. Also on the poverty caps. I have redone the colors of the crests and filled them with resin and they will blow your mind with how beautiful they turned out. I did not want to have to repaint them after the car gets a few baths. My last question is if there is a small speed nut that holds the wreath in place (3) do you know the size of that speed nut. I was very lucky that the car had the speed nuts over the pressure fit fastener that if you attempt to remove it will break off the wreath studs. I saved the best for last. Thank you for a good laugh. I was working on my 76 all day and you know that these cars will test your patience so when you told us about the saws-all. Holy crap I exploded in laughter and was all over the floor rolling. That was too funny. My first thought was "Saws all, oh yea good luck with that". Anyway, Great video and I am sure you are saving people a lot of headaches.

The trim usually comes with the bumper fillers. If the trim doesn’t come with the fillers, you can find the trim at most auto parts stores or Amazon. Thanks for reaching out.
