    I watched so many videos after purchasing my instax printer and I love your genuine input. It’s very relatable to why I purchased it too.

    So torn between this and the square printer, I like the classic Polaroid look of the square printer but also like that this gives you more real estate when needed. The square printer seems to be sold out everywhere though. I wish Fuji would make one that could accept all 3 options of print paper

    Yeah, it was the launch of the EVO that bought me into thinking about Instax too. I decided not to get the EVO because it has a sub-par camera and then looked elsewhere that ended up in buying a Link Wide printer, influenced mostly by one CZcams creator mentioned that older folks will appreciate the large size.
    For me, the Instax is for fun and wish to get a print instantly, otherwise I can use my Canon Selphy printer instead. Also, I especially like to create quick collage of a subject through time, such as a person, homes, cars, etc., without being too serious about it.

      @@xhynetuseinovski i better subsribe to you because you will have more important info in other photography and camera and printer videos. I have a polaroid now and fuji square 1 camera. my digital camera i haven't used in years and tried t=o use it again but the on off button is pressed in. i am shocked seeing stores mainly carry only a few brands anymore. i guess because people use smart phones more. what brand digital camera do you use

  • @lanycera
    @lanycera Před 3 měsíci +1

    Found this now, still helpful! Bought it. I think what deters me from most instax cameras are the shitty lenses / quality, while the price for film is relatively high. This way, you still get the "polaroid" look, but can really choose your pints selectively! I wanted to do this for the weddings I shoot too, and it doesn't hinder the workflow (eg having to wait for a print and then storing it safely somewhere).

    Sometimes I have this struggle from choosing rich or natural mode. Natural seems to wash some of the colors of the original photo and rich mode seems to make colors more warm. How do you usually choose before printing a film?

    • @xhynetuseinovski
      @xhynetuseinovski  Před 2 lety +5

      So I use a paid program called light room. Most people don’t use it unless they are a photographer but it basically gives you the ability to edit your photos with full control. So I usually take a photo on my Sony, send it to my computer to edit, and then print it without any of the filters in the app. I do believe though the Lightroom mobile app is free, you just input your email and such. Give it a try.

  • @Metrodragon

    By FAAR the best video I saw on the Link Wide. Appreciate especially the comparison to 4 x 6, since I could not decide but they are really 2 different things. I guess I will also get the Link Wide and just go to a drug store if I need a big quantity of printed photos.
    On the topic of the EVO, Fuji would kill it if they brought over their "real" Film Simulations from the X-Line like Classic Chrome or Velvia to the EVO 2. Then you could really get some great prints right from that moment.

    • @xhynetuseinovski
      @xhynetuseinovski  Před 2 lety

      Thanks brotha! EVO with film simulations would honestly be sick. Like I mentioned I was soooo close to getting the EVO. They almost have it down. Appreciate the comment and thanks for checkin out the vid!

    Lovely video, not like most of the reviews.
    What I still am not sure about. Is the image changing when printing? Like to look like a retro photo, instant photo?
    So if I edit my photos with LR or VSCO, will the printer change the tones and colors? Unsharpen? Or do I know what I get?

    • @xhynetuseinovski
      @xhynetuseinovski  Před rokem

      Hey thanks for checking it out!
      You’re basically going to get an image that looks exactly like your LR edit, but of course slightly less sharp. I don’t think it’s a high res printer by nature, but they still come out very nice!

    The films are so expensive. I'm making do with my old Canon Selphy which I can bring with me in the car or a larger messenger bag and print on the go too. The colors are accurate too.

    Do you have sharpness issues? Especially if I shoot something with shallower DOF it comes out blurry. I even cropped to the exact size in Photoshop. And this is the second one of these I tested out - I sent the first one back thinking it was defective.

    • @xhynetuseinovski

    It's cool and all, but I personally find this to be a little too artificial. For me, the whole point of Instax is the charm of its shittiness and the fact that once you take a photo, that's it, you can't edit it or print an identical copy.
