Dude you have 117k subs.
Are a random guy on the net, yet you made a vid discussing Macro Pierre White.
Which you'd be way too young to know about without google.
Not only that, sold out with your ads.
Get fucked dude.
Lol. That's harsh. "Today Gordon has received 17 michelin stars. Which is an absurd number considering that most chefs never get to see a single one." Fade in picture of Jamie Oliver...
âNo, I didnât make Gordon Ramsay cry. He made himself cry. That was his choice to cryâ.
Savage
Thereâs something oddly poetic about the stereotypical rebel in Marco training up an apprentice who goes on to become the ultimate product of the system in Gordon
like an acient greek tragedy
How is Gordon a product of the system when he continually pushes the envelope? Sounds like sour grapes.
â@@anthonyjohnson6199 if anything, Gordon IS the system at this point.
He opened a bunch of restaurants and I doubt he's cooking at all of them.
@@QuangNguyen-it3ub Yeah no shit thats how owning a francise works.
I mean the man made millions, gave back his stars, opened up a hotel in the country side, still hunting and fishing. If thatâs not a happy life I donât know what is.

A happy life for a chef, sure.
But to people who find that boring, not so much.
@@based_space215bro thatâs a retarded thing to say. No shit if someone finds something boring, they wouldnât like it

I knew peaceful surroundings all too well and it is worth more than Rhodium (600$/per gram )
They're both legends, just for different reasons. It was Gordon's choice to become more of a media personality than chef. Marco's mother was Italian.
that is very unfortunate for marco
And? What does it matter if hes half italian?
@@s66s46 Genetically they can only taste tomato.

Marco had always wanted his chefs to surpass him, and that's why he acted the way he did. And when Gordon was asked about it, he said this about Marco: "..because he drummed it in. If you want to do it, then you gotta do it to your best. If you can't do it to your best, then get the fuck out of here. Don't waste my time, and certainly don't waste yours". It's clear how much he respected the Great White, and I'm glad that they've buried the hatchet
.
Which is so true. You should always do your best at whatever you do.
Sometimes that is a double edged sword. Kind of like fletcher in whiplash, he was extremely harsh because he wanted to push his musicians to be great, but look at what happened to Shaun Casey, he ended up killing himself because he felt could never live up to those expectations. On the other hand Andrew pushes away his relationships, trains so hard he cuts his hands, and grows an ego thinking heâs better than everyone.
WDYM? Gordon is a dirty sellout that even random asian youtbers callout on his cookware and ingredients, while Marco is unparalleled chef, a master of his craft that gave up on tens, if not hundreds of millions of dollars just for the sake of his integrity. They're on completely different levels. Sure, Gordon makes way more money, but at what cost? He's barely above an average chef in a random cafeteria in eastern Europe, while Marco is a world class chef that refused to play the game. Literally every single video Gordon makes about food is wrong. He gets ingredients wrong, cooking wrong, cookware wrong, just everything is wrong, and the internet is roasting him for it, lol. He's a pretender to be a great chef, with no actual spirit, experience, or will to be one. It's all about marketing. The other "great" chef from UK got grilled to the ground, and Gordon is no different. He learned the basics, he got the character to be entertaining in front of camera, and he rolled with it, completely ignoring the craft. Well, financially he succeeded, but otherwise..? He's always gonna be a laughing stock amongst ACTUAL chefs.
@@John-jb6bg that "financially he succeeds" is already enough, I think. He got the life he wanted, and a few losers laughing at him won't make him go to bed and cry somehow.
9:37
Never thought id see a professional chef smoking 2 cigarettes while handling a rifle
Marco is such an enigma, lol
I still remember that Boiling Point episode, Gordon was clearly gutted not to beat Marco's record of the 'youngest person to receive 3 Michelin stars'. That was then, this is now. I doubt Gordon thinks about it much anymore. Hes a multi-millionaire, TV star and the most famous chef in the world.
After Gordon's bike accident. I feel sorry for who going to serve him hospital food.
Rich people go to the hospital for testing like x-ray and MRI, they don't go to the hospital to stay overnight, the doctors comes to their home and in Ramsey case, they come to his Mansion.
@@jason4275 Source?
@@misterpuff797 My rectum
@@misterpuff797 Are you stupid or something, there're is a thing called A home care doctor or a private practice doctor.
@@jason4275 no, some rich people have private doctors... no doctor "comes to their house" theres a million reasons they cant, legality aside, they wouldnt have access to equipment or medicine that you can only get at a hospital. they have full time private doctors or go to the hospital like everyone else. and only people with chronic health issues have private doctors, so
I like Marcos presence and humbleness, when Iâve watched him in shows he doesnât play up to the cameras cause he probably doesnât care what people think of him. All that matters is the cooking and I can really appreciate the honesty of it all. Gordonâs shows are fine, heâs got the charisma but it can be a bit over the top and repetitive. But you can definitely see who Gordon has modelled himself around.
You can't blame him for dialing it up to 11 for the camera. He's trying to appeal to a different type of audience, an American audience mostly, so he's gotta play the part. You can't deny Americans love a bit of a show and a trainwreck, it's noticeable when you compare the American version of Kitchen Nightmares with the British one.
Gordon Ramsay would make the greatest meal you've ever eaten with 100 techniques to perfectly flavour the dish. Marco will make something very simple, that is done with such finesse that it will always hit the spot. Just compare how they make scrambled eggs.
and gordon can barely make grilled cheese đ€Łđ€Ł gordon is filled with arrogance while marco is filled with confidence

Their relationship can be chalked up to the sith rule of two
Always two there are ,no more ,no less
They work together, but are constantly looking for a way to kill and replace each other lol.
Chef Bane: âThe chefs betrayed each other, victims of their own greed. But from the ashes of culinary disaster, I was the last survivor.â
You can definitely tell that both Marco and Gordon were brash and egotystical back then. You had to be if you wanted to make it in this industry. So the two of them having a falling out seems almost like an inevitability. You can certainly feel how age has whethered the two of them in different ways. Marco is now much more calm and at ease compared to his younger days. And Gordon's passion and ambition has been tempered into a more nurtured love and humility to the craft.
The two of them have definitely realised that they donât need to be egotistical and toxic about it all the time its actually scary to think that if these 2 are friends again what will they be like at a barbecue
â@@gdriskyplane3389they'd probably be pretty chill. They only get loud and crazy while they're working.
As someone who has worked in a restaurant that had 1 michelin star HOLY SHIT the toxicity of everyone involved in that circle. Just constant shit talking of other restaurants and people.
What's crazy is there is only a 5 year difference in age between Gordon and his mentor.
I work for a catering company, and one time we got hired to work production for an episode of Hellâs Kitchen. so while the chefs were all cooking on the show and trying to demonstrate how talented they were, I was backstage preparing all the food for the crew and for the on-air chefs to eat in between filming. It was terrifying!!!
How sad
That Intro with Marcus knife skills went hard.
getting paid now my man! keep up the great work
legend mate, appreciate you always watching!
To be honest seeing how Gordon was playing the media constantly in Boiling point and how he said he faked the stolen book to blame Marco, he probably did bring the media to Marco's wedding just to further himself and to screw over Marco.
At least Marco seems to have some integrity.
Agree. Marco has more class & integrity than Gordon ever could. Trying to ruin Marco by stealing an appointment book, then actually *saying* that it was Marco that probably stole it when it was Gordon the whole time? That is beyond wrong & Gordon is very lucky Marco's good reputation wasn't totally destroyed by that incident. Bringing a film crew to Marco's wedding without permission?! Again, what a classless hack Gordon is. Stealing that appointment book & then saying he did it years later is so effing cold & mean. I would never forgive such an incident. When Gordon admitted it, you can tell he spoke about it like he was still proud of what he did. What a scumbag.
Iâd say marco is your favourite chefs favourite chef, heâs the embodiment of what it means to be a chef, or so I was told by my older brother whoâs a sous chef lol
The industry is so over worked and so under paid that passion only exists in like 10% of chefs. The modernisations of chain restaurants, combined with the working conditions means most chefs are just people that had no other choice. When marco and gordon started, it was at least a respectable profession. Now it truly has to be your life dedication else youâll sit at 30k doing 56 hours a week
Heâs second only to Keith Floyd for me.
In actuallity probably a far better chef than Keith Floyd but that man is the OG of TV Chefs.

The editing on this is 10/10!
the editing is amazing in this video
Been waiting for a new one
good work as usual bro
one other reason he returned the Michelin stars is because he knows people will still regard him as a Michelin class chef, with or without the star, because it had already happened, so he doesn't actually lose the stars.
Was just watching when he hosted kitchen nightmares the other day so seeing this upload is perfect timing, thank you
I worked in kitchens from a kitchen porter at 17 all the way up to a sous chef at 22. Was an apprentice under a TV chef called Hugh Fearnley Whittingsall, the chef who ran river cottage. Cooking is a passion, you have to love and treat every dish as if youâre serving it to a king. Kitchens are such a cut throat place. If youâre getting weeded with 150-200 people to feed in a 3 hour evening service on a Saturday night. Abuse, stress and burnout are extremely common, especially when working in a high pressure environment. Iâve missed family events, birthdays, almost missed a family funeral, holidays, weekends and evenings. Was working 14 hours days 5 days in a row, when the head chef walked out, was me a 19 year old sous chef and the manager trying to keep the rota, bar and food orders in tact. Still love cooking, and I have nothing but respect for anyone who works in catering from the Kitchen Porters, Commis Chefs, Chef du Partie, Sous chefs, Head chefs, executive chefs and all the front of house staff. They do an amazing job!
Gordon never surpassed Marco, He just became more popular

I think Gordon is just torn between revenge for the abuse Marco subjected him to or be grateful for he became worldâs most known chef partially due to Marco. Personally, Iâm not a forgiving person, so I kind of understand Gordon better but you may argue otherwise

These two are the best frenemies there are.
I fell in love with Gordan as a child . What made the difference for me was when he started traveling and going on adventures while learning new ways how to cook. It felt like a vlog or stream at times .
Ramsey has sold himself out past few years. He hated anything frozen and ridiculed people who cooked frozen ingredients, now he has a line of frozen ready meals that are really terrible. He used to be hard headed, harsh but honest. Now he is overly nice and compliments bad food. He used to be naturally funny through his anger, now he is trying so hard to be funny.
I love Gordon still, but itâs disappointing to see him sell himself out like this.
Edit: and heâs cheated on his wife numerous times
He hates frozen food in restaurants
@@leonrussell9607 Yeah that would make sense. In a restaurant, you're charging a lot of money and customers are expecting freshly cooked foods. At home, you can eat whatever you want.

@@Nolan86745 for what part?
â@@SteakBake9 source is trust me bro, literally everything you said is plain defamation.
I think some of the greatest minds and greatest artists who have spent their lives dedicated to the art over life are doomed to suffer the reprocussions. Marco dedicated his life to cooking. Gordon found the balance and optimized it for his benefit. I think there will always be a difference between a Senna and Hamilton, a Kobe. and Lebron or a Messi and Ronaldo, each great in their own respect, but the latter of each just made sure to squeeze every bit of allowance possible to get the most of the opportunity....And you cant blame them for it. Sometimes you give everything to the art and there's little left to give to everything else. Sometimes you recognize you have come close to mastering the art but you need to take care of everything outside the art. Marco is one of the greatest, I think he gave everything he had to cooking and life faded by because that was the most important thing to him. Gordon understood that cooking was everything, but he reached a point where it wasn't anymore. He wanted to built a brand and optimize the opportunity he had been given to ensure him and his family for generations were set. Some purists like Marco might have an issue with that, but its not better, nor worse. Just a different path. I will always respect a great artist, athlete or individual who gives everything to their craft. But I don't hold it against those who take their opportunity to set themselves and their families up for generations to come.
Gordon has zero integrity. To do what he did to Marco when he stole that appointment book then had the audacity to say Marco stole it...that is about the *lowest* anyone can stoop. Gordon may have made millions & is "successful," but in doing that he proved he has zero morals & is a scumbucket. A zebra never loses their stripes....meaning Gordon would do something like that again if he thought he needed to.
That reservation book stuff is coooold
Iâve been to one of Marcos restaurants and it was unironically bad
Marco is literally Gordon's Sith Lord. They even treat each other like they're following the rule of 2 đ
The chopping intro was hard
Its Rawwwwwwww
FYI Gordon and Marco buried the knife a few years ago and speak regularly. They are both a both dramatic
He says that at the end
GORDON is a G and MARCO IS TOO. They are the Sith of chefs. And Gordon definitely slayed his master and became superior. Marco is a shadow now, and still the greatest in modern history. He groomed Gordon to succeed him. His anger towards him and silence was in fact a sign of respect
That chopping intro mix slapped
Marco used to be my idol and the reason I cook. But I made the mistake of meeting him when I was about 14. Had a family meal at one of his restaurants and my mum pointed him out to me, just watching tv. I went to go talk to him and ask him for tips and he put his hand in my face, shook his head and walked off without saying a word. I was 14, and short for a 14 year old, so for all he knew I was a child.

@@shanel4294 they started the award to sell more tires because youâd need new ones quicker if you were going to the places they awarded. It doesnât really hold the value it used to anymore
