the boy looks to be around 10-13 years old, if we knew how old he is exactly today we could work out the math to figure out how old he was in the initial meeting with Phil when that photo was taken but like i said he looked to be around 10-13 years old

After graduating university, I applied for a job in ITVs factual development office. After going through a couple of rounds of interviews, and making it down to the last two people, I was told I even though my ideas, and application were the best that I wasn't a good fit personality wise for the organization. The place always felt odd, and I now get it much more after seeing this video. Very weird, upper middle class chummy, morons was my instant reaction to talking to the management. My niece was a guest on the show, she was a beauty blogger at the time so was there to do something with that. Since this has all come out I can’t help but remember a couple of my mates who used to talk to Schofield on Snapchat when we were 13. I don't agree with anything schofield has done, but you have to be factually correct.
EDIT: There's a 2014 Manchester News article about MM visiting the 'this morning' set, with his age written as 18 in the article, confirming his birth year as 1996.

So it's what happened with the Phillip & the boy between 2006-2012 that's important.
I'm glad you said that because I'm sick of all the inconsistencies regarding the kid's age...the relationship is wrong on every level, even if nothing happened till the kid was 20 and there was no grooming involved. But there's a big difference between an inappropriate relationship and ped"philia. I never liked Philip but if there's no ACTUAL proof that he ever did anything other than have an inappropriate work relationship with someone far too young, then this witch hunt needs to stop. I think he's had enough punishment at this stage as all the money in the world isn't going to make up for being seen as a kiddy groomer and/or Pedo, especially after being so highly regarded for so many years. One does not have to like Schofield as a presenter to look at the evidence in an objective way and to call this relationship what it possibly was - one between two men of greatly differing ages but one that was legal in the eyes of the law. As for the age difference - there are many, many legal relationships between people of very different ages. Are we now going to condemn all of those too? Banding such sweeping terms like "grooming" around is unhelpful and predictable and because it's an emotive term, when people hear it they all jump on the band waggon without bothering to ascertain the truth of the matter.

Mental health only matters when it comes to groomers and kings brother. When it comes to a woman they bash for over 6 years being pushed to the limit, keep going. Even when she isn’t seen for months, they will fabricate stories and bash her on this round tables. Pregnant or not, when she said she was debilitated mentally, they kept going.

How is it an equal relationship? It's like becoming "mates" with one of your own children's friends. Which is strange and would be seen as very cringe. It's very odd.

I dont think the public knows a fraction of what really went on behind the scenes at ITV daytime television. Underage interns need to be protected in the workplace, this is the real issue here. From management at ITV, to the presenters and everyone in between. The people who are paid the big bucks and hold the power, all of these people who mustve known what went on, everyone of them needs to be investigated by an outside independent sourse. Children must be protected!

The boy he groomed/manipulated is barely an adult and will have to live with the trauma of this for the rest of his life, his name always in association with the celebrity who harmed him. I find it hard to see how Phil could have more to lose. More money to lose, maybe? The kid wanted to be an actor and now he will always be known as Phils victim.

He's still young & can get counselling & start over (I heard he may have changed his name). Not much is known about him & even the media are so far not naming or picturing him in order to protect him, so it's not like anyone could easily associate him. After a while, a lot of people wouldn't even remember him. Everyone would remember Phil though, especially for this scandal. The young man still has a chance. Phil is finished.
