It's time to showcase the 50 most popular Nintendo music. Which one is your absolute favorite?
I'm gonna say Gerudo Valley theme. I haven't actually played ocarina of time, but I have beat Thunderblight and Waterblight in BOTW (I know, not the best in terms of Zelda fanship)
Although I don't hate LIfelight either, because Super Smash Bros is my favorite game (I can beat all my friends easily)

If there was one fire emblem song that I thought would’ve surpassed the Fates one would’ve been Don’t Speak Her Name. Literally gave me chills first playing through. (Also criminal for no Gusty Garden)

I love Super Mario World's "game over" theme.

How the heck Fire Emblem managed to enter to the top 20 and there's no a Pikmin, XC nor Metroid song in the top 50!?
Why it shouldn’t? Fire Emblem has a lot of amazing music two and probably is the largest IP after Pokémon, Mario and Zelda (which well is the biggest portion of the list). So larger IPs > more well known by people > more people searching / listening to music from those franchises > more views > made it into top 50 of the list.
Not to mention that only 3 titles from FE made it - one really polarising (God Shattering Star) and two kind of being the main themes, that contains sung lyrics (Edge of Dawn, Lost in Thoughts all Alone). So it’s not that surprising.
I swore up and down marios theme would top 10 but 46th???? Sheesh

To me Gerudo valley is one of the best songs in more modern games. Only the original zelda and mario themes surpass it on my list.

ranking these songs by view counts is an extremely flawed way of determining popularity. uploads of nintendo soundtracks constantly get taken down due to copyright. gang-plank galleon, for instance, had 12 million views before it was taken down. this video's ranking is objectively meaningless.
So, no punch-out, no f-zero, no metroid, no star-fox song among the top 50? 😕
Do remixes (from a Nintendo game) in Smash not count? Otherwise Gangplank Galleon would definitely be up there
the smash remix of gang-plank galleon had 12 million views but it was taken down. ranking these songs by view counts is fundamentally flawed because it doesn't account for videos that were taken down due to copyright
