I legit got emotional hearing Ballad of the Goddess and Zelda's Lullaby right next to each other, those two are my FAVORITE

@lazed6480 well yeah, but that's actually not why lol. OOT was my first Zelda game and with Zelda's Lullaby being a central part of it, it really had an impact on me. As for Ballad of the Goddess, I didn't have the means to play Skyward Sword for a long time after it came out, so I spent a lot of time listening to the theme and wishing I could play it. When I finally got to play it myself and heard the theme in game for the first time it just made me SO happy, and since then it's been my favorite Zelda theme

For my wedding(recently), me and my husband had decided to play the fairy fountain music as I walked down the aisle, and when it came to finally saying yes, we let the Gerudo Valley theme play. It was very hard not to smile on such a great and unforgettable moment. Yes, we made it Legend of Zelda themed. Even had edible Silent Princesses decorated on the cake. 😊 We had a lot of stuff themed after our favorite game

Of the Zelda’s, honestly I have gone back and forth between botw and OoT for years. I think OoT is more consistently good while botw has a more defined and consistent style. I’ll go with oot.
Zelda is definitely the best franchise both musically and gameplay wise but my favorite single game is not a Nintendo game but Celeste. Also I have listened to that soundtrack more than any other with the only possible exception being Minecraft, the game I have played the most hours of.

You know, I just gotta share the feeling of looking at my parents’ collection of N64 cartridges, how special it was that the legend of Zelda’s was gold, and stood out no matter where it was placed. These games played a great part in my life, making childhood the most adventurous dream you can have. And the more I think about it, they taught me more than many other things.

#13 is the most underrated Zelda song in my opinion, even in the game itself. The orchestrated version is full of pomp and power, and it never showed up in Skyward Sword. I thought it would have had a place to dramatically show up, but alas, it never happened. We got lighthearted, slower versions in a lot of different forms, but never the powerful version.
I’m a little saddened Link’s Awakening didn’t get a rep on this list and I don’t understand why. The Tal Tal Mountain theme and ballad of the wind fish are the game’s highlights. You’d think both songs would make it in rather than the mountain of Breath and Tears songs that don’t deserve the popularity.
Far too many people were introduced to zelda in botw. So these other games have not gotten the recognitiin they deserve
Right!? I love Sword Search too. So many great songs that are overlooked because of BotW. Don't get me wrong there are some amazing BotW songs but the amount on this list that aren't as good as some previous games is crazy. Legendary Hero and the Wind Waker theme are 2 of my favorites

Zelda's Lullaby will probably always be my favorite. There is a lot of beautiful songs up there.. but for me its always been the stand out.

OOT is the masterpiece of Zelda's Franchise. One of the best videogames ever made and of course almost all its tracks are in this list. If I have to choose my favourite, it is definitely "Gerudo Valley" theme: a Flamenco theme so good that actually sounds as it is composed by a spaniard, but actually was composed by a japanese. That piece of music is just incredible.

I was getting really mad at this list because I thought it was supposed to be the best Zelda music, and it all just seemed to be popular opinion, and then I realized that it is the most popular music and not the best music, and I just realized that due to recency biased, and the fact that there is a lot of players that just have only played the newer ones or just simply want to say whatever else is saying and that’s why a lot of the music on this list is lower than it should be, it honestly is not an accurate representation of the best music, point number one being that the main theme for ocarina of Time is only 11 place
