I've watched a lot of these AB gym sessions, but this one was so different in the guys' tone & faces. Not the usual bantering and teasing and laughing and assisting. Kind of sad to watch. I hope things get back to normal soon.
@@theunderdawg9773 yeah but the second one was with the first team (1 to 23) and lost for the first time EVER to a team that didn't play for more than a year... not just a normal loss
@@jbarnes4521 what about Lomu? Was he doing 5 reps of 275kgs? I've heard some stories that the weight was more, my old supervisor was a good player who was in top level rugby, he trained in the gym when Jonah did but he said Jonah squatted some ridiculous weight. Like over 300+kgs.
How is it that Rieko Ioane, and a couple of others that have no right to be wearing the sacred jumper, weren't put on a plane home a couple of days ago? By the way, Ioane, if you ever get to score a try again at international level, try acting like you've actually scored a try before! (Oh boy, here comes the obloquy)
That is exactly what I am saying, old son. Foster - wrong coach - Ioane and half a dozen more - wrong players - Cane wrong captain .... It all started last world cup putting on a backline that wouldn't stand up in a storm! But, hell, everyone makes mistakes, right?
They actually do a lot of work on the field too, if you think they're in the gym too much then look at other professional rugby and sports teams that are improving in their sports, it's all part of improving as an athlete, even the fastest man ever Usain Bolt spent time in the gym. The quality of the program and the required intensity these players put out in every training session will determine their performances on the day.
@@theunderdawg9773 yeah, over recent years, the physiques of international players are becoming much more athletic, some of our players don't seem as conditioned as many other players around the world.
The ABs were a little bit off the pace but the Pumas have to thank Angus Gardner for the win. He was extremely biased and you could feel it in his body language and the way he was talking to Cane and Coles. Quite a few of the decisions could have easily gone the ABs way and Caleb Caleb Clarke could have stolen it for the ABs.
@Frank Buenos I thought the 6, 7 and 8 for Pumas along with 10 were the best players on the park for Pumas, Ref didn't decide who won and lost the game, the players did.
Am I the only one who pauses the video to count how heavy the weights they are lifting are.
legit 13 year olds lift their weights lol
Cool
Today I had two biscuits instead of one
Definitely should've got Ofa to hook you up with a session at 98 St.
Do all of the ABs train in weightlifting shoes when they squat or just regular trainers?
Looks like most of them do lower body lifts in weightlifting shoes

Focussed on actually winning this week
Lol
Was gonna make a comment but I think you nailed it
Jeepers the freakin ABs have been winning for ages, gummon guys at least two lost games is fair for everybody😭

Could you zoom in a bit more please; I can nearly see the weights they are lifting.
You know its serious when George isn't smiling
Well done my ALL BLACKS. NO PAIN NO GAIN.

Sam cane doing a 160kg front squat like it's nothing :)
They might be 25kgs each actually making that 200kg pretty sure there's 4 on each side. Wowza
I think the 2x thin plates on the end are 5kg each...
That seems abit more reasonable. 100kg in that case, i was thinking jesus sam cane is an absolute beast.

Is that guy at the end benching 140kg?
Why? It’s just baseline strength for his weight class.
Chillstep dancer - Nate 140kg for 5 reps ain’t no ‘baseline strength’
It's 2x20kgs, 1x15kg, 1x5kg per side with the 20kg bar. You're correct.
@TOA Athletes baseline for an athlete or someone who gyms lol 😆 not saying I can do that much. But big guys like him lift crazy heavy 👀
Feel like bragging cus im happy with my progress I’m lifting 120kgs for 2 at 88kgs and I’ve been gyming for half a year 👌
This Allblacks channel makes them look more like Senior 4ths than ABs. I miss the Franks brothers smashing max squats💪
And Carl Hayman squatting over 200kg 😂😭😭

Less gym time and more skills training needed.
Still dosent take away the fact that Argentina beat the ABs. Sooner or later Japan or Namibia will beat the boys!🥺😭
Of course a random video of them training at the gym takes away the fact that Argentina beat them. Do you know nothing?
