A touch of class. “It’s a big occasion for myself and it’ll be great to have you in my corner”. What a guy!!
💯❤
Wise word use👀❤🙌🔝
I used to loathe the kiwis and All blacks when I was much younger, I somehow thought they were arrogant and up themselves. But as the years went by and I had more access and the internet allowed me to connect with players and Southern Hemisphere clubs I began to understand it was humility and work ethic rooted in the culture of NZ. For a country with a small population they produce so many amazing players. Always enjoy watching these videos and have enjoyed watching Aaron grow and TJ as well. I almost prefer the super rugby season to our premiership now 😅😂
Always nice to hear a story from a reformed racist
@@andyhunter5869 wow, what an idiotic comment. When did race come in to it? Perhaps read what I said and use your head.
@@Benboy1980 clearly a lot left to learn. I wish you well on your journey of atonement.
@@andyhunter5869 you wish me well after accusing me of racism (incorrectly), then tell me I have a lot to learn!? My original comment had nothing to do with race and you are a troll. I ‘wish’ people like you would have a better understanding of the damage idiotic comments like yours cause.
@@Benboy1980 Sorry about that guy, I don’t think he realises how dumb he sounds 🤣 much love x
He is consistent. And he got a starter position pretty quickly in the All Blacks. He’s helped them with every win. He is gonna live on to be a legend of Rugby Union in this era
You can argue on other positions, but him is clearly the best on 9 all-time.
You should've seen Justin Marshall before he snapped his Achilles tendon in 1998. He was pretty good after that, but before that he was from another world.
Fourie Du Preez😉 Even Aaron Smith has called him the greatest scrum-half.
The man's work ethic is inspirational keep pushing brother
Aaron Smith has matured in to such a complete player also a pretty decent bloke as well .
"I've been passing like shit"
Translation = 1 bad pass in a few weeks
2:15 throws dead straight pass.
F***.
@@vonteflon assists a try, “I’m shit”
Might not even be a missed pass his level is so high that its probably stuff we will never seen
Lol 😂
Lots of respect ! from your South African brothers.
Best 9 over the last 10 years. That's a fact
FACT
Ever
Dupont and De Klerk are great but I honestly think Smith is the best out there especially in terms of leadership and motivation such and inspirational player.
After watching this impressive hardwork and effort from him makes me understand how he passes thee most flat balls to he's teamates which 9/10 times results in linebreaks and going over the advantage line and the weird part is that I just realised it from the highlights from the Trans Tasman games he is definitely the best scrum half in the world. RESPECT
Best 9 ever, glad he’s finally coming of age
Edward's, van der westhuizen, gregan?
@@garyambrosini1427 He's better than Gregan mate, But it's totally Disrespectful to leave of Fourie Du Preez. i believe he's the greatest, greatest tactical kicking 9, Highest workrate for a 9, Incredible Sniping, Safe in the Aerial, Great mental Awareness, extremely decisive. I'd Dissect my list, 1. Fourie, 2. JDW, 3. A. Smith, 4. Gregan, 5. Edwards (To fill of extra space, i can't rate Edwards because he's extremely past my time, he's reguarded to some as one of the "greats" But there's not enough game footage for me to Analyse. Smith will comfortably jump over JDW the more he Progresses, JDW was the greatest Sniper, Skillful 9, Perfect Tackling technique, Pretty much a winger playing 9. But Smith will pass him, we hadn't seen such a player with a Wicked yet accurate pass, One of the greatest Decision making 9's, One of the greatest play making 9's, Incredible Box Kicking, Great in support, one of the greatest workrates behind Du Preez and Weepu. Smith will be near Du Preez at the end of his career. Similar with Graham Price, some consider him the greatest Tighthead, Can't Analyse his true Abilities so i'd give it to Olo Brown.
@@garyambrosini1427 I’d put Joost 2nd, Gregan 3rd. I’ve never seen a fitter 9 that can clear the ball that fast. His longevity too is off the roof👏🏾
Aaron Smith - Attacking, defensive organising
George gregan - Defence, Vision
Van der Westhuizen - Tactical kicking, Awareness
Graeme Bachop - Pass accuracy
Is Gareth edwards not considered one of the best players to ever touch a ball
Not only the best But most consistent halfback in the history of Rugby
So, you've never heard about Fourie Du Preez ?
I consider half back one of the most influential positions on the rugby field and this position is ideal for a captaincy role because they are the link between the forwards and the backs. I notice this most with Brad Weber, Aron Smith and TJ Perenara. They are natural team leaders, whether they are given the official title or not.
😊
I’m a half back 😂
Just the professionalism and planning. Just the typical halfback legend, planning, influencing, and leading by incredible example. In my books you are already a legend e hoa. Mauri ora.
Awesome to see behind the scenes
Great insight into Aaron’s routine!
The best in the business! 👏🏻
What a class act! Good on you, Aaron Smith. 👍🏼🙏🏼
Love to see stuff like this
Very nice moment at the radio-studio
Always feel positive when he’s on the field easily the best no9 for a long time. Great leader awesome guy.
Love seeing the level of dedication and being the guy to lift the others in the gym - great content more of these please
It's a series on sky here in new Zealand had one on Anton Leinert brown this week
Always been one of my favorite half backs the passing of the torch from Piri was smooth and un noticeable top man filld piris shoes with ease
Love this guy, as if anyone in NZ wouldn't know who he is
🐐 Halfback of all time!! Forever a huge fan! From a Chiefs Fan! ✊🏾
Kia Kaha Tino Aroha - Keep Strong and Give Back - Great video of how Rugby and Captaincy matures players ( aka 2021 Captains Aaron Smith and James O Connor)
Great player and role model much respect from a Bok fan!
Good work brother!👍🏻
Legendary work ethic
Great stuff!
Very, very impressive!
He's a machine.
Top class this bloke!!
Best 9 of all time
Legend!
good stuff Aaron........
Wish I’d known/trained like this when I was younger.
Every rugby player!!
You can't, but your son can.
Let's go Azza the fire's still burning. You love to see it.
That way WONDERFUL, Aaron send us your polo t-shirt cuz, looking fly brudda.
All class that bloke 👌🏾
this guy a machine..
Aaron smith🔥🔥🔥
My favorite player 💪💯
What a beast 🔥
Beautiful man
More vids like this 🔥
Legend
🐐 half back
Top bloke
My man any day
Sensational
Do more please
Ages like fine wine
1:08 there was something about the rhythm of the way he said that opening line that sounded like the start of a rap song
Cool video
Sounds like he’s getting the yips in his old age. Must be feeling the pressure from the fast, fit and feisty youngsters coming through. Happens. McCaw was great at keeping Braid, Holah, Blackie and Masoe at bay but he had a few quiet years at the end there, when Todd, Cane and Savea were nipping at his heels. Tired bones, tripping through remember when. Once invincible but now his armor has worn thin.
And this is why he's the best halfback to have ever played
Their accent kinda sounds like the British accent. So beautiful
Great role model
Still on top of your game ...wow
Man we need that type of culture here in Eastern Cape, South Africa!
Best 9 in the world
I wonder what that hand eye coordination light game is he's doing
laser beam pass
Not just a great rugby player. Great man Nugs.
Would love to have a training partner like that.
No1 number 9 in the world
His right arm in the thumbnail 🤨
You forgot 'Tapping up' random Slappa's at the airport in between flights
Rugby 🏉 science nuts 🥜
🐐
@Mako VuniPolarBear LH Mako Vunipola, How's training camp? and How is Gatland feeding you
👌
I could've been this good if i didn't do my shoulder in high school
I believe you 😉
As a neutral, when you watch him, you can see he has pride in his passing game from the scrum and ruck...
How much of his training takes place in airport bathrooms though...?
And another funny guy! Nothing like a good put-down reminder to make yourself feel superior. Bet you couldn't wait to type that response - in fact, you didn't even need to watch the video to come up with that essential comment. Am I fan? You bet. Was I pissed when he did that? Hell yes I was. Have I got over it? Yes. Do I think he'll ever do that again? Hell no. He's risen above it and moved on with his wife and family intact. Why can't you and your ilk do the same?
Nick move forward, you will crack the 1st xv someday & your eyes will open up. Uncle Steve
Believe it or not Aaron is my uncle
The Steph Curry of Rugby 💪🖤
You should be all blacks captain
13 dislikes are from Englanders
Na females waiting at airports 😝
This guy doesn't even rest in rest room...if you know you know
On a science prespective... the no. 9 Jersey is the toughest job in the world...NFL qb dosent come close...Tom Brady vs Aaron smith... Brady will break...they only use thier arms...nothing like the no. 9...
Does that include a quick trip to the airport bathroom cubicle??
Yeah. Blow his candle out bro. Can't have too much positivity. Feel better now?
Dunno bro, ask his missus how she felt when he cheated on her for a quickie on the loo, or all the you boys looking up to him as role model, and I guarantee you it wasn’t the only time he did something like that, he blew out his own candle!
Obviously they have move forward on it. Unsure why you are still cut. His candle is still blowing
You recon!? Easy to move on after your partner humiliates you by shagging a groupie in the airport cubicle eh, good to see you have the same moral standards he has. His rugby candle might be burning but he blew out his own character candle. Sorry no “moving forward” from that kind of behaviour. One day his kids will know what he did and they will judge him for it.
@@vuisboek I doubt it was easy to move on, but move on they did. He will have to answer to his children one day just as he had to front up to national and international media as well as the NZRU. He deserved everything he got at the time. He took his medicine from the public humiliation, has improved himself and hasn't faltered since. It seems most responders on this forum have either moved on, forgotten about it or just don't care - you are obviously an exception. Why the emotive cheap shot concerning my morals? Is that to make you feel better too?
I miss the "hectic" in this training schedule. Perhaps a different video will show this, lets watch: "A day in the life".
He works so hard he even puts a shift in in the airport toilets before a flight!
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Why is that relevant? Dave; have you always done the right thing? Such poor taste, Dave
Ol nit picking 'DAVE'. Does 1's 2's & #3's in the toilet this joker.
Just a bit of cardio
@@llewlloyd3832 😂😂😂😂
Didn't he cheat on his misses?
Ĺ
Hey I’m Aaron smith
Who????
😂😂
I wish documentaries like these would be more open and honest of the PED use these players rely on to stay on top of their game.
That's every sport mate
It is a rare happening that rugby players test positive for PED's in any country. You are confusing them with NFL and Premiership players!!!
1- Joust Van Der Westhuizen
2- Fourie Du Perez
3- George Freeman
4- Aron Smooth
This is what happens when predictive text takes over.
No Will Ginea ?
Whose George Freeman?
@@jaymanlinkin1897 He would fit in behind Gareth Eduardo
None of these blokes come near to Aron. So come on bro your making your self look stupid and stop making me laugh.
@@MrWilt100 Aron Smooth is the best 9 in the world right now but Joost was the very best
Funny, he doesn’t LOOK “all black”.
Long live israel! All blacks support 🇮🇱.
Don’t take Lord’s name in vain, please repent for it’s a sin
All he does is kick kick kick one trick pony time to go
