$50,000 for an sr5 Tacoma seems rediculous to me!
Facts
It is. No way. The truck looks weak like the tundra. What happen ?
The price
The end
đ
Yeah I'm due for a new one and I'm going to have to look at other manufacturers. Toyota has lost their minds.
I will say that the new tacoma looks good, however 50K +dollars for a small four cylinder truck is WAY TOO MUCH. I'll keep my 2021 4runner thank you.
Iâll just keep my 3rd gen. At 105,000 miles itâs been rock solid so far.
paid off 21 im keeping for a lonng timeeee
Toyota went to the 4-cylinder with turbo for emissions, not MPG. Just more efficient and burns cleaner. So you can thank the government for pushing more and more rules and regulations on car manufacturing. Just more rules for their green net zero agender there is only one way to get net zero by less breathing by anything or anyone.
Thanks Joeđ
Tacoma sales down 60% with numerous recalls. nuff said!!!!!!!!
Can you tell me what recalls are on the 2024 Tacoma?
Honesty is the best policy. Great honest review. Thanks
Thanks
Toyota screwed up big time going to the turbos and not improving gas mileage in tundra and Tacoma.
EPA Regulations. Go blame Biden.
What is the point of less displacement if fuel consumption is not improved?
Beaurocrats and politicians should not make engineering decisions.
Thanks! I will keep my paid off 2020 TRD OR prem. got everything I need!
$50k and no electric seats? C'mon
$38,000 at Longo ? SR5 I've looked at are $45,000 plus add on' at $49,000 way over priced for a 4 cylinder and made in Mexico. Not for ME!!
The previous generation was also built in Mexico.
@christian.mar.garcia Thanks for the information...
I have a 2014 Tacoma and on my research my truck was built in Japan.
It has only 88K miles I think it will last me for the rest of my life.
Trump was right theyâre not sending their best!đđđđ
@richardsanchez9657 Teflon Don is Appsolutly right on everything he says !!
Luv your truck. Iâm gonna swing by Longo Toyota memorial weekend to see if I can get same deal/hookup as yours.
I have learned a long time ago that never buy the first year of a major redesign of any vehicle.
Nowadays, the first three years
@@DanBrandotrue I bought a 2022 Honda civic sport got it for 30k one of my friends got one recently for 24k
Wow thats a nice looking SR5, Yes the price is the deal killer.
Positive its got more power, negative it wont last 150k, Positive it looks good, negative it cost 2x more than it should
Pretty much sums is ALL up.
Engine reliability is still in question
3rd gen looks way better
THAT BIH CLEAN BUT NAAAAAAH
Appreciate your honest opinion đ
Always!
Same!
2024 is overpriced and unproven. I have at least 10 years left on my 2023 so I will see what is in store at that time. Most likely full electric is all the government will let us buy in 10 years. Manufacturers no longer build vehicles the consumer wants, they build vehicles the government wants.
I purposefully bought the 23 TRD Off Road, double cab, 6â bed with the Premium and Technology pkgs because it has the proven reliable and durable 3.5L Naturally Aspirated V6.
I put over 300K on my last 3.5L V6 and it still ran like new.
Historically a Turbo engine simply doesnât last as long as a N/A engine.
We keep our vehicles for 15-20 years or 250K to 300K miles and at my age my 23 TRD will out live me.
Bruh nice truck. How much was that bed cover and where did you get it ??
Appreciating honest reviews! Subscribed! đđ»
For the increased price you donât even get a power seat, full size spare tire, turn signals in the side mirrors . There is no value in the 4th Gen Tacoma.
38K for base 2wd pickup truck with no options. đź
Just got my hands on a 2023 TRD off road 4x4 and I couldnât be happier.
No doubt itâs a great truck...but the other manufacturers are making great trucks too at significantly lower prices. This truck does not stand out in any way.
Great video. As always, keeping it 100% đ
Thanks for the video. I have a 2023 trail edition in MGM that Ill be hanging onto for quite a while.
that truck looks good but the price and engine is no go
Bruh this and the new tundra are the ugliest trucks ever made
Iâll pass. Iâd rather get a Corolla
Throwaway Truck!
How does the truck feel with the 285?
I will be keeping my 23 trail addition. Donât want no 4banger
I just noticed, did you also manually blacked out your Toyota emblem on front grill?
what tint %? looks great
What was that corrosion problem on your Tacoma that took awhile to fix? Also you should have mentioned that all midsize trucks like the Ford Ranger , Chevy Colorado are about the same price range as the Tacoma
No improvement in gas mileage đ
Is ur truck leveled?
Good video đ
Ive got a trd off road for a work rental right now. Seems cheap made but is pretty quick and averages 18 miles per gallon. Not crazy about it but does drive good.
50k out the door for the same model truck in my town, also california, so will skip it. Have a 2007 tacoma with the 2.7 liter, good enough for what i use it for and dependable!
My 3rd gen is exactly like yours lol, all white with the black accents and rims
I honestly drive the new SR5 Tacoma , I like my 3rd gen, the new one feels like RAv 4 but on a Tacoma body ! The interior is nice đđ»
TFL did a test of a brand new Tacoma on a moderate trail. Front differential and transfer case exploded 1st run on a light crawl.
Toyota sense 3.0 is neat. I had a guy blow past his stop sign by a car lane, and the tacoma slowed down before i noticed.
You're lucky you were able to put 3000 miles on it. I have a 2024 that has been at the dealer for 34 days due to paint issues and the dreaded system malfunction. I love the truck, but qc has to get better. My truck only has 623 miles on it and 300 of those are trips back and forth to the dealer
Should have grabbed a Frontier at least you get a V6. And doesn't say Made in Mexico in the door.
I'll keep my 2nd generation, with 75k miles on it. It will take me until I decide to find a new truck.
What's crazy to me is the hybrid 4 cylinder engine. You're getting the same mpg as past v6 engines. You're buying this truck for looks and added small gimmicks
Waiting for the stout
Should put 34 inch tires.
No. Buy a 2020 tundra 5.7L TRD pro for $50k.
Yep... tank of an engine. Better get em quick. Resale value is going to go higher as soon as the FOMO crowd that traded them in figures out they were a better truck.
Or brand new titan and have 100k warranty.
Remember when Toyota had the Tundra commercials pulling heavy load up this huge ramp. Toyota trucks were once tough and mean looking. Now too sissified Plus you canât get a piss ant in the back seats
2024 Tacoma have a 18.6 gas tank vs 3gen is 21. 1 gas tank..
Wait for the 2025 modelsâŠ
First off those tires look too big for the SR5, also here in TEXAS Iâve seen them priced between 31 & 36K depending on accessories. Also thatâs a nice looking truck.
I will keep my bicycle I donât need some overpriced tacoma
Pick up trucks were in high demand so the high prices. But it will back fire on the dealership..
Only buy one if there was a fundraiser for me to buy one. Toyota has shifted production to Mexico, while they switched to 4 cylinder turbo from v6. I am thinking the saving will be passed to consumers, not expecting 15k price hike on certain models.
You pretty much bought a souped up BASE model tacoma. My dad has a 2021, 4 cylinder taco already so......
If you don't spend the big dollars for the trim with the integrated brake controller there is no easy way to add one . Don't let The salesman tell you that there is a plug for an aftermarket controller . ---There isn't . ---I wound up trading in my 2024 for a low mileage 2023 3rd gen
You will be happy with new truck until you see problems like tundra. One solution is sell it before get into any trouble. That is what Tundra owners do now.
3rdGen4Life!
Made in Mexico very very small back seat and same mpg as last gen..on top of that it cost more
AhhhhhâŠ. No ⊠I am still driving a 1999 Dodge Ram 1500âŠ. Yes, it is very old , not pretty anymoreâŠ. But still works and was paid for 20 years agoâŠ
People complaining about the prices, get use to it because prices won't be coming down
they might come down when Biden gets kicked out,,,,we will see
I wouldn't have bought it at the first place.
Hard Pass looking at a Pro 4x Toyota just $hit the bed!
Buying public is saying no to the New Tacoma so far, sales are down 55% from last year thru the first quarter of 2024 and so far this year the Frontier is outselling the Tacoma by nearly double.
All the add on minus 2 cylinders! đ
I would not buy that Tacoma because itâs over price plus it has a four-cylinder
People who love Toyotas, don't want all those electronics. More electronics means its less likely that you'll be able to work on it. Lane departure? If you can't stay in the lane on your own, you shouldn't be driving.
Not for that price
Mostly people who got this were influencers to get them views
Iâm not paying that price if Pablo is building it. Itâs a real TACO now though đ
This guy advertising for Toyota
It's a beautiful truck, but it's too pricey.
I never buy first-generation redesign vehicles.
Not a fan of the ârhino buttâ look of the overall outside appearance of the new platform. As far as the new seating height, I guess Iâm the only one that feels the third gen seating comfort works as opposed to the fourth gen seating which I thought was uncomfortable for me. I do however appreciate your honesty, as your the only new gen owner thatâs not trying to inject fourth gen âKool-aidâ in my veins about how perfect the new gen is to the previous gen and ANYBODY who has a third gen Tacoma needs to get on board and scrap their piece of junk third gen for what they have with the fourth gen Tacoma.
Why matter, you donât keep any of these for long regardless of how much you pay. Canât wait for your next Tacoma review, 2025 SRđ ? No big deal, no matter how much Toyota raises the price. People will still buy it. đ
1000 dollars payment no thank you.
đ€Ł fr
too much money for something that rusts!
It just costs too much! I'm keeping my 23 TRD offroad.
i been told you why you buy that truck
Say again?
No thanks, I'll keep my 4.0 V6 tacoma
Made in Mexico. Enough said
4 cylinder?đđđ
Iâd rather walk 50 miles to work than buy the 2024 Tacoma.
Save yourself $25k and buy the Nissan frontier
Ha ha! Toyota got u! You bought a Mexican Clone! No resale! Short lifespan! đąđąđąđą
Not for me.đą
I have driven Toyota 4x4 trucks since 1984. I was a die hard fanboy.
No more. They are overpriced, underwhelming and EVERY Toyota dealer I have gone to in the last 24 months was a greedy gouger âgetting his pieceâ. To add insult to the injury, the got rid of the 2023 perfect body style and presented this finback.
Whoever buys one I hope you never regret it.
Made in Mexico more money no way
Not so basic if youâre paying around 40k for a sr5. They are not selling for good reason. Hard pass. Value is not there.
No !
You sound like a young guy, but technology is the enemy of reliability bud. Give me a tank over any of this garbage carb credit trucks. Good luck Man U live u learn.
czcams.com/video/Zsr3vMct5ew/video.html
youâre goin to start having some issues with that turbo 4 cylinder as youâre adding miles on it
Oh wow thatâs amazing. Can you tell me when Iâm going to die since you can predict the future?
@@adamsrosales6519 i predict that your head is still stuck in your butt
@@adamsrosales6519 Thank you!
Made by cheaper labor, 4cyl , same mpg & $1000's more..Toyota enthusiasts will not buy
Put a real engine in it
