- I wanted to do this video because although I had heard personally from Humber College Simulation Session Facilitators that the SIMS exams have a good successfully passing rate, lately from a few people I’ve been hearing the opposite.
The Humber College Real Estate Simulation Session Exam or Simulation Session 1 Assessment, in my opinion was challenging. In this video we’ll go over 2 REALLY good examples of questions you will see often the Humber College Simulation Session Exams as well as how I suggest you prepare on the very last day. Hey Callum, thank you a million times for this info! I'm in SIM:1 right now and this will be really helpful. To anyone taking the course and perhaps closing in on sim:1 DO NOT STRESS!! I REPEAT DO NOT STRESS! It's really not a test during the simulation, it's a couple of laid back realtors walking you through EVERYTHING you already know and just answering questions. I was so stressed coming into it but now I look back and laugh. I'm extremely eager to get through course 4 onto SIM:2! Best of luck everyone. 👍

The exam was very straight forward! I made the mistake of missing some of the "not" questions! None the less I passed!

Super helpful as always. I just finished Sim Session1 and chose to take the exam on location on a totally separate day. I cannot imagine having to finish the last day and THEN sliding into a 3 hour exam, especially after such an intense week. Glad that choice was available.

Great video, Callum! If only this was posted 2 weeks ago, when I was doing my sims 1 😂 I feel like if you listen during the simulation session, you wont have a problem passing the assessment.
Yes I agree for sure. You're stuck in there might as well try to learn a thing or two. The challenging part for me was the timing of the exam at 3pm. But having 3 hours really lets you take your time. If that was an 1.5hr exam that would of been very challenging for me.

Bro you are killing it. 100% agree they should have the exam on a separate day and not after a whole day of learning. That last day is brutal.
Hey thanks Calvin. 🙏 Yea I was conserving energy all day. A 3 hour exam at 3pm for someone up at 430am. You got to tap into that extra focus!
I'm currently an RPN but COVID is seriously taking a toll on the profession. I've always been fascinated with real estate. I'm thinking about doing the real estate program while working full time. I'm really glad I found your channel. Thank you for the content

our facilitators said we don't know what is coming, and exam is not in our hand. they were not at all helpful. feels like the time is wasted on that but happy i found exam master mini.

Can you make a video of what to look for and questions to ask before selecting a brokerage to go in a pre-con team as unlicensed salesperson? Thank you.

Hi Callum. Thanks for another great video. I am going to star Sim 1. I was a little confused about the scenario 1 about Mary and her concerns about the (BRA)... The answer D - the right one say ' Is used to protect the buyer and the 'The Salesperson'- shouldn't be the Listing Brokerage?
Hey Marcia no problem! No, the Buyer Representation Agreement will have nothing to do with the listing brokerage. The listing brokerage will never even see the BRA. That is a contract between the buyer and the buyers representative (salesperson). And it does protect them both. 👍

Hey so it's not a bad idea. Only bad thing is that it will take you a little longer but if you are in no rush, want to study more or even can't take the week off it's a great option to have. 👍
I have my test Friday, little nervous as remembering all the key and tiny details is hard for me. Any website you recommend I could use to study from, or stuff in general I should study before the exam. I just don't feel confident and I find all Humber's exams to be a little tough and draining.
I don't have a website for the SIMS right now unfortunately. So it's Wed and you still have today, tomorrow and a bunch of Friday in class? I'd try to take advantage of that and ask as many questions as possible. You're definitely doing extra work by checking out these vids. I'd push on the Friday to try and get as much info as possible.
Hello Callum, Thank you for your video, I got a score 77. The sim 1 is easier than another Course exam, but I had a headache due to many long sentences and lost my mind during the exam. Anyway, I passed, but I am wondering why marks 77??. It is 50 questions. some questions might be 1 point or 3 points. Do you have idea? Thanks
Hey congrats on getting through it. Yes it feels like a completely different exam then the rest. Yes it is weighted that's why. It's not a big deal but they use a version of the Angoff standard setting. So one question could be worth 0.8 of a mark and another worth 1.1 type thing. Not a huge deal I feel it all comes together at the end and I just try to consider every question worth 1. 👍 But congrats again! Good one to get out of the way!

Hey, so you can come in more prepared now with these videos on YT and the Exam Master Mini Courses. I wish these existed for me because I had no idea what to expect. But for SIMS 2 I now wanted to come in more prepared once I knew and I took a few days to get organized.
I bought passit and I was passing with 90s I went in for exam, and it was almost all different. It really frustrated me. Any tips please :(

Hey Callum, How does a BRA protects me as a buyer???
Sure. So once a buyer signs a BRA we as salespersons now have a fiduciary responsibility to promote and protect they best interest at all times. We must find and show them any and all properties that fit their criteria regardless of remuneration. It is an amazing thing to have here in Ontario for the buyer. There are places in the world where the buyer is on their own all of the time.
Ok so basically we take it from there for them while protecting and locating their best interests. Got it. You are amazing, 🙏
@@ShahzadKhan-ls6cp Yup no problem. They have certain obligations as well. If they find a property in the area indicated on the BRA they must notify us as the Salesperson as well.
