Guys the budget didn't go down, everyone in the comments kept hating on all the gold plated stuff, so they listened and stopped eating the over the top stuff
Tbh I'd be real surprised if they actually pay for any of these meals.
Most restaurants are getting a lot advertising out of it. So barring the real expensive stuff, and the inbetween stuff I doubt they pay for any meals.

I'm amused by how enthusiastic Andrew is now. Steven used to be the energetic one but now Andrew's just as energized as he is! I love it.

nah, I feel that the videos are a lot less interesting now that they are spending less money. I enjoyed them going around the world trying super extravagant foods because it was less about the taste but rather the experience of the food they were eating.
Not to mention, there are some genres of food which don't naturally lend themselves to high price points anyway. Outside of showering the fried chicken sandwich with gold, I really don't see how you can get an expensive fried chicken sandwich.
Also $20 is still a lot for one sandwich

That's what I like about their newest episodes, they've toned down the maximum price. Before, the max price stuff is only that expensive because they add expensive ingredients to artificially drive up the price, like truffle, gold, caviar, etc.

There’s a restaurant in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada that served freeze-dried moss with some crème fraîche that tastes sort of like chips and dip. Their whole menu is locally sourced. It’s called the Butternut Tree. I think it’d be sweet if you guys did an all Canadian episode and you could try the moss out!
