  • OMG TED, LOOK AT WHAT YOU DID!
    New Twin Troller owners do lots of things to their boats. Ted from Ohio took it to another level with his own video to show you how he did it so you can do it yourself. Besides additional electronics and ways to attach items to his Twin Troller he also custom wrapped his boat and installed matching trim all around his boat.

    Another amazing example of a true engineer Ted. I have been corresponding with Gerry all winter about getting my TT. I am down to single digits now with only 9 more days till my order goes through. Gerry has helped me tremendously all year. When my blank canvas arrives I will pretty much leave it blank till winter as I am from Northern Michigan by the Mackinaw bridge and have countless lakes to choose from within minutes of my driveway and one lake so close I good pull it there LOL. I think you would be a great Freedom Electric Ambassador if you know what that is and if not Gerry is and would tell you about it. I just ordered my TT this past Monday. I’m excited and been buying more lures and stuff like crazy. One question though. What type of battery are most of the owners buying for their boats. I like the 31 but not the weight. I’m thinking a good 29 AGM though. All I’ll be running is a Humminbird Helix 5 DI GPS G2. Any ideas and links would be great! I’ve watched all of your videos Gerry. Glad to join the family.

    • @LunkerFishing
      @LunkerFishing  Před 4 lety +1

      C. Miles, welcome to the family. The issue of battery choice is complicated. Here is why I bought the 31 series. I live in Central Florida and there are large alligators and snakes in the waters I fish. If I still lived up north I would be ok with having to swim to shore if the battery died but I do not want to do that here. I am also too old! If I am fishing with a friend in my TT I do not bring the Honda along due to space and weight. If I am alone I have always have the Honda, and two bottles of spare fuel. You probably saw them in my videos. For the same reason I do not want to run out of fuel or battery. One pricy solution is a lithium battery but they are around $1K each. They only weigh about 30 pounds. Consider where you want to fish. If you truly in small waters and the 29 series is enough battery for you then that would be a good choice. I do not have a good feel for what percentage of owners use the 29 or the 31 series. Catch one for me!!!! Gerry

The lights were only $15 for the pair and they are bright and had great reviews, and your right especially here in Ohio when we only have 5-6 months of fishing weather out of the 12, you usually find yourself staying out later than we should, and whenever we rent a cabin that’s for certain. The DB Power camera came with a boat load of accessories as well, and the remote wrist band item should make it easier to take that video when your bringing in the big one, and a pic once you got em in the boat 😊 .www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IY3YLCI/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
