- Is it SAFE to REMOVE This From Your Harley Sportster Iron!? We are continuing to transform my Sportster Iron 1200 into a bobber. In this video I will remove several parts including the front fender and bottom chain guard , but is it safe to ride without a Fender?? We will also place a fork brace in there for some extra stability!

I really like the look of the fender delete. Thinking of doing it on my dyna but haven't committed yet!
Right on! 👍
so crazy how killer it looks without the fender
I would have probably gone with a smaller front fender. We will wait to hear from you on the debris sling and rain splatter issues. Things are going to get wet.
Hopefully won't be riding in to many adverse conditions as an around town bobber
can't wait to see it all unfold bro
bro bad ass idea. i've been thinking about doing it for the shadow since it's just been sitting around in the garage smh
Hell yeah dude I've seen people bob those too many
I like this build and i have an Iron but I wouldn't do any of this. I'm strange, I love it all stock right down to the pipes
Yeah stock definitely keeps it more functional
ooohhh can't wait to see what pipes you go with
Diggin that fender delete look up front!
Thanks brotha!
I replaced the front fender with a brace. Chopped the rear fender. Installed lanesplitter bars.
How's the brace going for you?
The Sportster is what it is...enjoy the bike for what it is..👍🤟😊
The top belt guard is a badly designed where it mounts. I've broken 2 of them so I just don't bother.
The bottom plastic belt guard I left on the sportster since it has the measurement window and I'm always concerned a plastic grocery bag or something on the road will get fed into the rear sprocket and jump the belt.
Damn bags, I didn't even think of that
great share fam!!
sportster bobber!!! let's go
its safe but you will get pelter and sprayed with crap so choose your roads and weather wisely
Philly scum getting plastered all over me 😂
Chain conversion is next.
That's a good idea actually 🤔
@@TheMotoJawn I’m doing mine now. Low Brow Customs for the kit and chain. TC Bros for the HHB sprocket lock and the JIMS Mega Nut. I wanted the screw type master link so I had to get that from cycle gear/revzilla.
Might consider gallop motorcycles for your exhaust. They have some pretty crazy looking designs
Yeah I've been looking at their short one that slants down
@@TheMotoJawnI’m working in a design that would allow you to mount 50 caliber ammo cans, painted in any color if you have any interest
Two into one exhaust
Definitely an option
i crashed and the front fender was all sorts of bent up. removed it and i think it looks even better
Did you end up putting a forkbrace?
I wonder about riding in the rain and the rooster tail hitting you right in the face from the front tire. Let us know if that happens. I'm not sure if it will or won't.
I’ve read that a bandana tied across the forks where the brace is can help if it starts raining.
That will probably. But hopefully won't hit too many bad cond
Yes, the wheel spin will create a mohawk of water and some will shoot up in your face
Stay out of Amish country and you'll be good.
