Brown sauce is either used in a Bacon or sausage sandwich. It is also primarily used as a condiment for a full English breakfast. Not in a stir fry or just spread onto toast.

      @TwoGuysOneMike  Před 3 měsíci +1

Can definitely see how the sweetness of it could compliment a salty bacon or sausage, but at least for this brand specifically we found it to have an over chemically tasting sweetener that we really didn't enjoy.

      You're eating th all wrong.
Brown sauce is like a ketchup - a condiment.
Pickle - best severed with a cheese in small quantities

If you didn't butter that toast, then that's not a true reflection of beans on toast. It MUST be buttered.

Branston Pickle should be on a sandwich with real cheese and Brown sauce is used on a bacon or sausage on a roll or over breakfast like ketchup. No wonder you hated it lolol

I liked your review, you guys seem intelligent and able to make rational decisions about what you are eating - I will say that if you add some cheese to beans on toast, it will make a huge difference.
Beans on toast is generally a meal that is a quick snack, I used to eat it when I was younger but haven't for some years as the taste is a little boring.
I would recommend trying some of our chocolate, American chocolate has a totally different flavour profile and there is a reason for that, Chocolate bars were first introduced in the states by Hersheys who made them for soldiers fighting in the Vietnam war,, they needed to make them last longer so they used a fermented milk which would allow them to last for around 6 months. When the soldiers came back, they wanted this kind of chocolate, so they continued making it with this kind of milk.
In Europe, our chocolate tastes very "creamy" in comparison, very rich.
I have been to the states and I do like your food, what you will find however, is that our food is more organic generally!
Please try Cadbury chocolate and also Galaxy!
Some recommendations for you: Cadbury Dairy Milk (Standard milk chocolate), Cadbury Caramel (Cadbury with a smooth caramel filling), Cadbury Fruit and Nut (Self Explanatory), Galaxy, Galaxy Salted Caramel, Starbar, Double Decker, Frys Mint Chocolate (First chocolate bar invented in the world), Fruit Pastilles, StarBurst
    Thanks guys, have subscribed!

Actually, not sure how you guys came about this but 'brown sauce' such as Daddies and HP are usually a savoury condiment to bacon, sausage, a fry up etc. HOWEVER, the Chinese do use one brand called 'O.K. Sauce' in stir frys! Forever I genuinely thought it was some mysterious concoction, but nope... it's just things stir fried in brown sauce! 😅 Tastes fantastic though!

  • @RobTheSmog

I don’t know who told you brown sauce is supposed to go in stir fry…? 🤣🤣🤣 it’s mainly used on fried food like bacon eggs chips “fries” as a side sauce. It’s basically like your A1 sauce just with a slight vinegar under tone 👌🏻. The brown sauce would also be a good addition to the beans on toast 👍🏻 Branston is mostly eaten with cold meats or on cheese so it’s not surprising it was so intense on just bread it kind of needs a other flavor to bounce off of. Lmao I could tell from the get go that the lad in the middle was a picky eater 🤣 don’t give him marmite, piccalilli, or colmans English mustard… 🤣 I think he would freak out 🤣.

Bri'ish high schoolers review American food.
"I haven't got all the stuff so this isn't prepared properly.
So I got these ring donuts and we're going to dip them in this chowder stuff.
I heard you stir fry the gravy with the grits.
Wow, the texture of these fries on the Twinkies is... I'm going to give it a 1.69 out of 7 and a half.
Cheetos dust is a considered a cultural delicacy or something and you're supposed to spread it on everything so we've got these Doritos and Mountain Dew...
Mate, I'm not sure about these cold swiss cheeseburgers with garlic dill pickle juice.
I mean I see what they're going for but the cookies are really hard to drink submerged in the pumpkin spice latté."
    etc.

what i would do next guys, as you can try this cheaply, and you will be able to get the stuff easily, is the chip butty a chip sandwich, 2 slice of bread well buttered, cook your chips, (french fries), lay them between the 2 slices of bread, plenty salk on chips, you can even add your brown sauce, or ketchup if you have that, these are also a cheap staple, like the beans on toast, Your channel is on a winner if you keep to the british theme, many americans, have channels on learning the UK, 75% of there subs are british, and they have 80k 100k 140k, and grow very quickly, as you will see from your comments who is commenting and subscribing

Beans on toast, butter the toast, good you did not drown the toast in to many beans. Next time put some shredded cheese on the beans and grill for a couple of mins.
Branston Pickle, sorry you did not like, try again though. Two slices of buttered bread, some cheese inside, some pickle inside, and eat. If your brave try Piccalilli instead of Pickle. It’s bright yellow, has crunchy veg, a mustardy taste, don’t use to much. I think would be good on a hot dog or burger.

You cannot use American foods instead of UK or European foods. American manufacturers cut corners everywhere, and can taste very different from the true flavour. Don't use American butter, but UK, European or Irish Kerrygold; you can taste the difference. Don't use American bread as that shouldn't even be called bread. Don't use Amercian beans but UK Heinz beans, again a taste difference. Butter your UK toast generously, and then put your English Heinz beans on the top. I'd say you can put cheese in with the beins or on the top, but you'll put your fake US cheese in there; not the same by any amount. In fact forget the lot, you''ll never eat American food again (that's no lie) as Americans eat s!"t as it is cheaper for the food producers. Don't even look how they produce EGGS from the chicken to the bin!
