You should really search the web for that. I don't own a Bamboo. But it does sound like to me that either you screen mapping is wrong or you have it set to mouse mode.

Not sure what you mean. This is an Illustrator tutorial. Are you referring to any work in particular?
I don't know. Are you using the same pencil settings as mine? Are you using a pen tablet?
