These guys never got nearly the credit they deserve. Always cool to see that people are still discovering them...a true gem of Louisiana. This is one of my fave songs of theirs and it's just more and more delightful every time I hear it. Some songs never get old and this is one of them:)

I agree, but they did some dumb promotional stuff. I saw them play in Stamford, CT in 2006 at a FREE venue and all they played was stuff from their new album--which nobody even heard of. What a dumb move. They have such a big library of music they could have played to win over new fans. But they didn't. Stupid move. I love them, but I didn't enjoy the show.

Yes I saw them literally a couple of hundred times starting in 1984 at the Union Bar in Minneapolis. I saw them perform from east coast to the west coast and from Montana to New Orleans and many places between. Partied with them many many times and it was always a blast.

Like The Radiators I was lucky to grow up during the golden age of New Orleans music (starting in the late 50's) - we had a chance to see the incomparable Fess, Allan, Ernie, Benny, Fats, Lee, Irma and so many others -often for free. I learned to listen to this great music and well has the Rads learned to play it - Reggie even had the privilege to play with Fess - and it shows! (Like Walter Earl would say, I could only carry a tune if I had a radio in my hand!)
We were blessed and The Radiators are great descendants of these musical giants and are the musical gems of their generation! What a great body of work - Ed is perhaps the most under appreciated contemporary song writer! Timeless NOLA music for all the FishHeads!

Truly an old favorite, remember driving around with this cassette in the car player. Check out the live version of this song from Toad's Place 1989, its on the internet archive. The local radio station used to broadcast shows from there back in the day. Toad's Place and WPLR still exist, but both are shadows of there former selves.

Suzanne out shakin up the dance floor as they jammed The Law of the Fish and Suck The Head...
